I'm Banded
I used Designer Whey unflavored protein for the first week and mixed it with crystal light. It was not very tasty. As soon as I could do full liquids (week two) I returned the unflavored (GNC will take back anything with a receipt) and switched to Designer Whey chocolate and it is actually really good. It's 100 calories per scoop and that gives you 20g of protein. Mixed wtih 1/2 cup skim milk, that's 24g of protein per shake. I used the shaker cup at first becuase it blends it with no air and is much easier to get down. The hand blender adds a lot of air which may be too much for you at this stage. They also have it in smaller servings if you want to try it first. Jen
I liked the Proti-15 drinks from Dr. Pohl's office, especially Wild Berry and Peach Mango, and the chocolate and strawberry were pretty good too. Some of them made me gag though (vanilla and capuccino). I also used the sugar free instant breakfast. They are 15 grams when mixed with skim milk. Good luck and congrats!
