knee injury!

I just found out that I have dislocated my knee. I'm seeing an orthopedic doctor on Wednesday. I'm afraid that my doctor won't do my surgery, which is less than three weeks away!!!, if he knows that my knee is injured. Anyone have any similar problems pre-op? My knee is killing me but I have been waiting for months to have my surgery done.
