POPCORNERS and movies

This is a product for those that want popcorn but can't eat it.  Kettle flavor is my favorite.  They also make Butter, Sea Salt, White Cheddar, Cheesy Jalapeno and Carmel.  I divide the bag into the small baggies of one ounce each and grab one when  we go to the movies.  I'm not a  chip person so a 5 oz bag last me for a long time.  Not so with my husband and family.  The kids love them more than popcorn and chips.  They are not sold in my area yet but can be ordered on line in 1.1  or  5 oz bags.  You can check online if they are sold in your area.  You can check them out at:     www.popcorners.com

Looks like a good treat for a special occasion, can you order them online?

These are pretty good and I  have found them at both Wal-Mart and Publix.  I just left the movies after seeing "Men In Black 3"(I liked it!) and the smell of the popcorn nearly drove me crazy.  Maybe I will take some of the Popcorners next time.

Yes, they can be ordered online.  They offer a box of mixed bags, as well as, individual.  I found them in Ft Worth at Central Market for $1.50 / 5 oz  bag.  I think they are $2 for that size online with free shipping.  I've put a request at our local WalMart to carry them since that is where my NUT gets them in Wichita Falls.  Amazon has them but I don't remember cost.

I only looked at the butter flavored one, but it is 120 calories per ounce and 21g of carbs (only 1g of which is fiber... at least with real popcorn you get fiber), 3.5g of fat, and 2g of protein.

That is still a lot of carbs and calories, though, and NO fiber (which at least real popcorn has).

Like I stated for those that can't eat popcorn.  It gives me severe cramps and I can't make it to the bathroom fast enough.  Same with oatmeal and protein bars.  I have diverticulitis and low stage of  Chron's disease so my digestive system is very sensitive.  It's one of the foods to be eaten in moderation but great for those of us who want to have a popcorn type snack at the movies.  It's not for those that would eat the entire bag at a setting.
