Leg Numbness

For the past 2 weeks I've had this numbess feeling on the outside of my left lower leg. I only notice it when I rub it, shave or bump it or rub it against something. I can walk & everything just fine. All my labs are great so I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with being deficient. Anyone else ever have anything like this?

I have an area like on my outer right thigh. Noticed I when in the hospital for kidney stones; ended up in ICU for septic shock, long ordeal. Dr said it was from lying in the same position too long, nerve damage. Painful sometimes, tingles sometimes.

I have that but it's nerve damage from when my L5/S1 disk blew in 2005. Never got all of the feeling back. It gets worse if I overdo something with my back. My little toe feels "stuffy".

I experienced the same thing after surgery on my right leg.  Dr said sciatica from laying down.  I am 5 mths PO and go to a chiropractor weekly it is getting better.  Not completely gone but not any where near as bad as it was at first.

My PCP has put in a referral for me to see a neurologist for my constant headaches so I will definitely be bringing up the numbness with them as well. I recently within the last month been seeing a chiropractor for my headaches & am wondering if maybe that has something to do with it too. I'm not sure but I definitely will be bringing it up at my appointment. Thanks for the comments.

This numbness is also quite normal in obese people. I have had this issue for years on my right side. It has to do with the pinching of a femoral nerve. Sometimes it is temporary and sometimes it can be permanent.
