Moment of weakness...
I haven't had surgery yet, so please forgive my ignorance.....is it really that bad that you gave in a little ? I would think that is gonna happen from time to time throughout the rest of our lives.... which is a looooong time lol !! I would think what was a bigger deal than you caving a little bit, was that you stopped at 10 !!! Which is awesome :)

Dont beat yourself up about it. Just tell yourself next time you crave sweets youll go for something healthier. Dark Chocolate isnt absolutely terrible for you and it is only like 7g of sugar a tablespoon. Measure out a tablespoon and eat some chips, or melt them in the microwave and cut up a strawberry on top. YUM. I do this at least once a week for my husband and I for a small dessert a few hours after dinner.
As has been said, dark chocolate would probably be okay. I bought some small bars and they lasted me quite a while. Just nibble one slowly when the craving**** And you get antioxidants! :)
