Update with Photos
Hi All!
I am almost 2 months post op and it was the best decision I've ever made. I know like most, my only regret is that I waited this long. Life has changed in so many ways all for the positive. My relationships have changed because I'm more active and I want to go out now. I am walking about 4 miles a day and I look for ways to get my walking in. I have had people I work with that haven't seen me in a couple of months walk almost past me because I am so unrecognizable to them. I've donated almost 3/4 of my wardrobe and most of my shoes! I buy just a couple of tops a week to get me through the next change in size and since I sew I've been taking in shirts and pants for work. I am down to a 16 from a 20/22 and it's a thrill. My sister is talking about coming down for vacation in May and I can't wait because I know I'll look better in a swimsuit this time around. I can't remember the last time I have felt physically and emotionally so good. I haven't had any bumps in the road with food, everything is going down nicely. I am having an emotional struggle with going out to eat. I sit there and watch the others eat and can't believe I used to eat that much or more! gosh, I'm so happy I'm sitting in this new body. (PS I don't know why my photographer takes my pics with my eyes shut! lol)

-26lbs in one month!
Huge change in just one month! You'll be unrecognizable to your sister in May.
Your before/afters are great. You're wearing the same clothes so the changes in your body really show up. Set yourself a monthly reminder and do the same pictures in the same clothes for as long as you can. I did it for my entire first year and am so glad that I did.
Great 1st month!

This is so exciting to see! I had surgery just a few weeks after you, and my start weight/current weights are similar to yours. I do not feel like I see the change so much in my own body, but I am not taking photos. Seeing your photos, I could imagine myself as you :-). And it inspired me to take photos all along the way.
