That is the Truth!! I can eat a cracker or carbs of all kinds, ..no problem. , but one little bite of chicken, and I am stuck and sore for hours. I cant believe at  26 months I might still be fighting with the chicken. lol. That was always my food that I could eat on dieting. Not anymore!

I did not realize that it was going to be this difficult. I am not sorry, dont get me wrong, I just did not understand how hard it would be to eat. Hope it gets a bit easier.

Not alone!! I had surgery on 12/9 and am on vacation in California right now and have gotten sick multiple times because of meat. It's so frustrating. I loved meat before surgery and now it's my worst enemy.

I keep seeing this problem, and was wondering if anyone has tried ground chicken? I'm hoping that one of my staples when I'm back on meat will be lean ground turkey.

I eat ground chicken breast because I can make all sorts of things with it - it's cheap and versatile and I don't find it sticks like chicken breast.

What a great bunch of people. Really you made me feel better. Sometimes this can get a little scary, and you put in perspective for  me, and I appreciate every answer I got. They all had something I could draw from. Thank you so much!

I am 7 months out and meat and I aren't friends.  I cannot do eggs either. My NUT says this is normal and some people just cannot do it.

most fish I can do ok, not fried of course. but that's about it.

Best of Luck

Odd, but eggs are kinda iffy for me also. I had better luck just eating the egg whites. I used a little lowfat cheese on them, and it worked good. Seems like whatever works today, does not work tomorrow!  Stuck on a plateau right now, and even tho I know it is normal, it makes me a wreck wondering if I have done something wrong. It is so much easier to control, the protein and fluid when you are doing liquid. I couldnt wait to get to solids, but now it is really hard to get it all in.
