Vitamin Levels keep plummeting....Increasing protein??
I had surgery about 6 months ago. I have always been low on Vit D. Even before surgery.
Been taking extra Vit D since surgery and again today I need to increase my dose by adding Thiamine.
Does anyone know why the Doctor would suggest increasing protein as a result of a blood draw?
Will email my nut too.
Even before surgery, the prescription Vitamin D did very little to raise my levels. I think I went from a 9 to a 12...something ridiculous like that. It wasn't until I started the dry D3 that my levels actually improved.

I had low Vit D for over a decade before WLs, and could never get my levels up to more than borderline status. I started using Liquid vitamin D that I buy at the vitamin shoppe and i am fiinally in low end of normal.

I get dry D3 at amazom, 50,000I IU. The bottle -app $20 for 100 capsules lasts me 1.5 years. My numbers are now 60-80.. And I line to keep it that way.
