Was a longggg time before I could eat chicken. At your stage of this journey I was eating Gerbers baby food meat. Hamburger was another bad one for me. I could eat steak before hamburger. 13 years later pork roast and I are not friends. It's such a trial and error. It gets better!
There were several times early on after my RNY that I had projectile vomiting from Chicken!! My NUT told me to try again in a couple of weeks. I wait a couple of months and now have no problem with it but I get boneless skinless chicken thighs.
