RNY vs gallbladder removal

Which did you have first? I was wondering about scar tissue issues forcing them to perform the 2nd surgery open, but my doctor said it shouldn't be an issue. I saw that on 600 pound life a few times.

I had the RNY first. The gallbladder came 5 weeks later due to the rapid weight loss and formation of gallstones. He told me the same thing about the scar tissue he warned me that there might be a slight chance that he would have to revert to open because of scar tissue but I woke up and he said it was a breeze with no complications.
