Hello Challenge friends! I'm so happy to read your results - everyone did really well!
I had gone down to 150.0 over the last couple of weeks, then up, then hovering and stalled. I began my AMAW week at 152.8. I weighed in at 147.2 this morning - a loss of 5.6 pounds! Yesterday I actually weighed in lower - at 146.6# for a 6.2# loss. The gain I am sure was due to substituting more ham for my other planned meals - though I didn't eat a tremendous amount of it, it is higher in carbs than I was monitoring as I went along yesterday ("maple ham") - delicious but higher in carbs than it should have been - so I am up .6 of a pound, boo! Back to salmon, tuna, beef, and just a little ham instead of multiple meals of it!
Still, at 16 months out, I am definitely happy with a 5.6 pound loss for the week, and I am continuing on with AMAW for this next week as well.
At this point I am planning to continue my weight loss phase until the end of December or until January 1 - I have this idea that it's a good idea to incorporate some behavior into the first day of the year that you wish to set a pattern for the year with, so I may be still dieting on 1/1/19. But after that I expect I will probably be ready to segue into maintenance! I will do another week or possibly two of AMAW around the holidays sometime. I hope to lose another 10 pounds or so. Actually I'd like to lose to 135#, not because I want to weigh that, I am ok with weighing under 150, but I need the wiggle room for sure! Then I think I will get on the hard-to-ride Maintenance Horse and do my best to stay in the saddle!
Thank you ALL for doing AMAW/CAMAW with me! Sending love to every one of you!

Good point! It definitely does! I finished that ham today, but there was only .25 of an ounce left, so I'm pretty sure that amount won't be enough to have a negative impact. I'm keeping on with AMAW for a week, but that will be it then for a while. I've got some flank steak in the slow cooker with some of that 0-carb, 0-calorie (how do they do that?) BBQ sauce from Walden Farms. It does have some sodium in it, though. I want the beef to get super soft so I can pull it all apart, like pulled pork. Hopefully it's going to be edible!
Congrats to all of you! You all did great. ![]()
I'll def do it with you Cara, if you are doing one in Nov.
