Whats on your Monday menu RNYers?
Good Morning menu friends. I have had such a hard time coming in and posting lately! I think it was before Christmas!
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm still bouncing around getting rid of the last 5-7 pounds until Im at what MY goal is.
I "unintentionally" ran a 5K yesterday. My husband and one of his friends signed up and I ended up riding along to support them and jumped in and ran it as well. Its VERY hilly in downtown Atlanta so I didn't run the entire thing but finished it 40 minutes walk/running it. I stole their swag at the end for photo's so I looked legit lol!
B-Premier shake and 2oz grilled chicken with a couple bites of scrambled egg.
S-1 cup of popcorn
L-Went to applebees with my son and got the chicken wonton tacos with no slaw.
D-going to roast bacon wrapped chicken pieces and make zucchini tots.
S-1/2 of a builtbar protein bar.
Hopefully i can stay on task here. I've been wanting to snack way too much and need to get back in the groove here.

I'm trying not very successfully to not freak out. Before lunch I got a call from the hospital where I had my mammogram and they wanted to make another appointment for 3 hours for tomorrow. The person making the appointment couldn't tell me anything other than they want to look at my right breast. This is the side I had cancer on before so I am scared. I did a 3D mammogram that is supposed to work with dense breast tissue, and it could just be the scar tissue that they see, or at least I hope that is what it is. They told me to call my PCP if I had questions, so I have a call into her to see if they have more information so I can be fore-warned. The answer from the PCP is that they see some calcification's and want to get a better look. It can be good or bad depending on what they see on the next one. Keep your fingers crossed.![]()
