What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning all! (although it's afternoon in the U.S. - so good afternoon!)
today is the last full day of the yoga part of our trip. Tomorrow morning we leave for Mussoorie - it's a small town higher up in the Himalayas. Five days of relaxation at what looks like an amazing resort. Then we head back home on Friday. Boo. Although after 3.5 weeks, I'm sure I'll be ready to head back. Here's the resort:
QOTD: I much prefer cooking because I'm much better at improvising than at following directions. And you kind of have to follow directions closely when you bake unless you're really experienced - otherwise you can end up with a disaster!!!
not sure what's on the menu for today, although we always have the same items on the breakfast buffet (fruit salad, plain yogurt, muesli, oatmeal, and fennel bread). Lunch is always some kind of curry, some kind of dal, some kind of raita, basmati rice, and naan or chapati bread. Dinner is the same as lunch except for dessert instead of raita. I've been skipping the rice and bread ever since we got here....
I hear the breakfast bell ringing now...so off I go!
