Good Morning!

QOTD: used to get a lot more trick or treaters in my neighborhood but now I think people go to more organized things. I will still get about 40-50.

Working tonight for a few hours at the Mall GNC store... They do Mall trick or treating but the store isn't participating. Thinking I will bring in a bag of candy anyway... for those that wander in.

My GNC store is closing in 2 weeks- we just went to 50% off the whole store. I have a bag stashed in back of stuff I am buying. Waiting in case 75% happens. I think their Pure Isolate is pretty awesome BTW.

Eats:

  • pepper onions spinach and eggs
  • salad w/grilled chicken and roasted veggies
  • homemade creamy tomato soup with added cottage cheese blended in for protein, and probably more grilled chicken.
  • S: protein, Greek yogurt

hi all

no dressing up for me either. ran a few errands before work today- including getting my license tag! yay officially a TN resident now including my car and camper. wasn't happy about paying that sales tax due though on the camper. it was EXPENSIVE

QOTD: our mountain house as no real neighbors so no trick or treaters. the camp place does have kids but they did something over the weekend so I am not planning on people coming by...

my plan is NO CANDY today...

I made some ground chicken, green beans and artichokes and will have that several times plus tuna pouches with lettuce...

QOTD- We used to get tons, we decorate and it usually scares the adults but not the kids. This year I didn't decorate my roommate usually loves to hand out candy, but with his surgery and feeling awful no decorations or candy this year. Neither one of us need it around to tempt us.

My roommate has lost over 70lbs since his surgery on 10/3/19. He's on soft foods now, so hopefully he'll get more protein in and all of his water.

I was in misery last night too much sugar and I was wanting to die. Why can't I learn my lesson? If a little is good so more is better, but not in this case. I'm going to try limiting my access to candy and see how it goes.

It's almost Friday so I'm hanging on...

Have a great day everyone!

Happy Halloween, my little batlings!

I was good yesterday again - no cheese bought or consumed - but no drop on the scale either. I'm just 2 pounds up but you know how that works, if you don't deal with it now it just gets harder. Hopefully tomorrow I'll see a drop.

I haven't bought candy yet but will do so today. There will likely be a few kids. The remainder will go to my neighbor tout de suite! I'm wearing my purple witch's hat, a cool black and purple dress, and tall black boots...I love Halloween!

it's so cold here. Got down to freezing this morning. I'm going to buy a big Styrofoam freezer box and line it with Styrofoam packing peanuts and blankets for the two feral cats that wait adorably on my front porch every morning, looking in, waiting to be fed. It's so cold out here, and it's not even November yet!

QOTD: I'm not sure but will be prepared.

First: coffee in a huge mug, x 3

B: chicken

L: either tuna or chicken, tomatoes

D: chicken meatballs, broccoli

Lots and lots of tea

Take a look at these awesome Amanita muscaria toadstools I found here on the island! This is the first time I've ever seen these outside of fairy-tale illustrations and mycological texts. The one with bite marks (poor foolish animal) is as big around as my entire hand!

Enjoy Halloween, my friends!

I have never seen toadstools in real life. Very vibrant!

Your probably have seen other types of toadstools, Kelly- they're really very common. This particular type isn't uncommon either, but it's just one I haven't encountered outside of books before. I was so excited to find it! Pure fairy tale!
