Happy Friday!

QOTD - Well. I have super short blue/purple hair. I have 11 tattoos. I've had septum/nostril pierced so, I don't know what I could really truly do to alter my appearance other than...I dunno!

Breakfast - dealing with some tummy issues, so no coffee this morning. I am fasting, so ho****er, water.

Lunch - leftover vegan pizza, veggies, pumpkin seeds, apple slices, peanut butter.

Snack - smoothie, frozen fruit, almond milk, kale, hemp seed hearts, chia seeds, turmeric, ginger

Snack - triscuits with vegan cheese, 1/2 everything bagel with some hummus, celery

Dinner - NO idea yet. We have the kids, so I need to start thinking of something!

Happy Friday y'all!

*editing to add some photos of our new puppy Harley Gunner Marzec!

Mornin' all!

I got home last evening about 5:30. What a joy to be back in my space with my family ?

I'm able to eat some small frequent meals but it feels like weeks 2&3 post op.... Frustrating, but at least we know what we're working with. I've done eggs, tilapia, sweet potato, yogurt and applesauce, all pureed, but after little to nothing to eat for 4-6 weeks, I get excited. Well kinda.

Looking forward to starting with PT to get stronger. Still moving slowly with a walker and assistance while I'd love to be moving like 16 months ago. It's hard to accept the changes. So much to learn and adapt to...

I'm still very tired and need to accept help, but my DW says I'm an Energizer Bunny and push way too much.

Well here's a pic and an appropriate meme for these days:

It does feel so good to get home from a hospital. I know that kitty is happy to have you back.

I'm glad to see your on the mend. Don't be so hard on yourself and take the time to relax. You'll be sorry if you over do it. I know first hand about not being compliant. Good luck and stay safe.
