wow..

we had a really bad storm with huge hails in some areas on Tuesday. I was made aware that many roofs would need to be replaced - they got damaged by the hail. Problem in SC is that it was well over 80F just before the thunderstorm, and it was rather warm for a few dates and night before that. So the shingles got "softer" and the big hail damaged the roof deeper. Not sure if that's true, but it makes sense.

Lilacs smell so good. Holy crap on a cracker with all that hail. Never seen that much before.

The poor plant. I have never seen so much hail, it looks dry. Here when we have hail it melts the second it hits the ground.

This is what it looks like right now - You would think it would melt because it's been above freezing the whole time and it's been raining off and on since about 9 last night
