What's on your Thursday Menu?

Good mornin y'all!

My appointment with the pain clinic was good. I am hoping this NP will be my permanent one for at least a long while. He walked in, said my Medicaid provider was full of horse crap. Went on to politely put them down and call them BS. They rescheduled my ablation for March 1st and hopefully they'll approve it. He said they'll keep reapplying until they say yes. I like him a lot more than my old one as she was quite cruel...she doesn't belong in the field anymore if you ask me.

Not sure what if anything is planned for the day. I'm feeling a little rough still. We had to buy a cheapie coffee maker as ours died yesterday morning. Honestly the little Walmart brand we got makes a good cup it just takes a minute longer. Our last one was an expensive, for us, so we'll likely stick with this one for a while. I am Just flat out exhausted. I need to call my obgyn Monday and the eye specialist too. I've got so much **** going on medically I could just scream.

QOTD: my mom told her family my name was going to be tulip bulb. My gran's name on my fathers side and her sisters all had floral names. Hers was Oney Moss she had a said name Flora. My mom's family flipped out! They believed her! She was actually going to name me April but she saw me and saw a Melody Sunshine.

food is unplanned today.

B: eggs and cheese + coffee x 2

L: ????

D: likely salmon and a veggie

One day my husband asked me if I noticed anything different. I could not figure out what it was until he told me. He had a serious cut on his arm and had been to the emergency room and had a big bandage. That was embarrassing not to notice.

Starting in my early 20s, I had a beard and mustache, and kept them for many years. One day I shaved the beard and kept the mustache. It took about 4 days, but my ex finally looked, puzzled, and said "When did you grow a mustache?"

I was never that out of it. You made the right choice to get divorced.

Good morning ~ I didn't realize your mom got hooded eye surgery! I hope her healing goes well. Yesterday, I got a call from the eye center for my consultation for that surgery. I'm not sure both eyes will qualify - one is worse than the other and I don't think I want to do just one eye, but who knows. Anyway, I need to make that phone call to schedule. Work went great yesterday, today will be busy again and tomorrow I can breathe for a minute. After all my unit changes settle down - I'm thinking September? I'll be taking on new projects and traveling more for trainings/conferences. I still have so much to learn and haven't had the time to do everything but it's happening this year. Change is great and I've waited so long. All good stuff.

QOTD - My dad wanted to name me Maggie (Margaret) but there was an actress with that name and my mom vetoed that choice. If I was a boy, I'd have been Carl after my grandfather.

Accountability - Oh accountability - days end: Tortilla chips at lunch, 3 fun sized m&m's and 4 See's truffles. Roughly 700-800 calories - not what I wanted, but I enjoyed the moments and I'm moving on. 185.6 today.

B- coffee x 4, L&F yogurt, strawberries and raspberries

l - Realgood burrito

d- Homemade Chipotle bowl

I had never heard of this kind of surgery before. Now it's popping up everywhere.

The first time I had hooded eye surgery only one eye was bad enough to be covered by insurance. I should have just paid and had both done. The second time I had it, both eyes were covered and they looked so much better once they healed. I found bags of frozen peas to be great to apply cold while it was healing.
