What's the plan for this Saturday?

truth!

Good mornin y'all. Having a time with the site this mornin so we'll see if this posts or not.

The only thing I HAVE to do is pick up a prescription. I am really hoping it sticks to just that. I'm tired. Thursday's 5 hour doctors appointment took it out of me as an exclamation point on the week. Yesterday my mom decided to do a few things so I didn't really get any down time. I will say this my eating yesterday was good. I only had half the burger and only 10 or so fries. I did have a piece of candy but stuck to that one piece. My weight was down a pound so yay!

My back is really screaming at me today. Sleep is impossible. Did I mention I'm tired? lol.

QOTD: what is your favorite comfort drink? Could be anywhere from wine to hot chocolate.

mines coffee or this lavender lemonade tea I found recently. First for obvious reasons and the second one is just such a soothing taste as it has a tiny bit of honey crystals in it too. It's my favorite tea right now for sure. The coffee I'm liking best right now is McCafe's stroopwaffle. With a tiny splash of of the skinny syrups salted caramel sauce. Pure yum. I also ad sugar free Italian crème coffee mate.

B: two eggs, sausage, cheese and 4 crackers - coffee x 2

S1: yogurt and maybe some dill havarti

L: half of a hamburger with low carb bun and harvest snacks puffs

S2: PP shake

D: corn and black bean "salsa" and chicken bites.

I had one sandwich cookie with my first cup of coffee so that's some extra calories that was definitely not worth it...

I hope you get to relax for a few days. Long waits for appointments don't bother me anymore. I carry my Kindle and get lost in some great book. I tell myself I am in a warm and comfortable place and they will get to me. Once at the eye specialist I was there from noon until 6 PM. He only works here one or two days a month and they pack in a lot of people.

About a year ago there was a recipe for orange chicken posted here. I made it a few times and loved it. I think you posted it. I hope you have that recipe and can give it to me. I will be careful not to lose it again.

I was once at this office for 7 hours. I think it must be an eye specialist thing! LOL. All in all I'm just thankful that we have them at all in our town!

it was me I do believe with the recipe. It is super tasty!

Thanks. That is the recipe. Now that I see the recipe I remember it was so good because it is baked,

Good Morning! I have been sleeping so well lately. It feels like a miracle.

I'm teaching this afternoon, so in a few minutes I have to get my butt in gear to get organized. Grim's daughter is coming to this class with a friend which should make today extra fun :)

QOTD: How to choose? I love my first hot coffee in the morning the most, I suppose. But I love chai and cocoa on crisp fall days and cool lemonade on hot summer days. And then there is wine to comfort, whenever.

Analysis of my first week 1 of HungryRoot = too much food. I didn't even get a chance to make 2 of the meals they sent, and I still have leftovers from what I did make. Uh-oh because they are sending me a whole new shipment tomorrow. Ahh! I need to spend some time labeling and freezing some things so it isn't a waste. It's too late to skip next week, but I am definitely skipping the week after. Other than too much food, it's a good deal and my first round of meals were yummy :)

That has been my experience with HelloFresh. Great food but too much of it.

Good morning ~ I woke to our cat today, nothing new but I just wish he wasn't a 4am cat on the weekends. Yesterday was a fun day! The best ever sushi and a walk with one sis. Then dinner and movie @ours with my other sis/BIL - so fun. I didn't drink much because I was very full. Not exactly win-win there, but better than I thought I'd do. Today well... it's raining right now, supposed to be a sunny morning then rain again later - subject to change in a blink. I have errands to run for vet meds, groceries and computer cord, some tidying up, laundry and I'm making a pot of chili for dinner. I'd like to get in some episodes of something or other. I restarted Regime E1, and I liked it better - it's very subtle and I missed so much the first time so on to E2. I also want to check out Shogun and the Oprah Special - I'm curious.

QOTD - comfort drink makes me think warm and soul soothing like creamy/sweet coffee, chai or salted caramel tea.

Accountability - Breakfast and lunch were good, but evening had appys and a very filling dinner w/wine. 184.8 same today which surprised me because I thought I'd wake heavier for sure.

b- coffee, fried egg and protein bread toast w/butter

l - leftover chicken fajitas

d - chili w crispy 25 cal corn tortillas

s strawberries, jello with whip

I had a cat who kept moving breakfast time earlier. I bought an automatic feeder that used ice packs to keep the food fresh. I set it to open every six hours. she also had dry food all the time. She quickly learned to go to the feeder instead of waking me up.

That would be awesome, but wouldn't work for our Bubs. He is on a couple of meds - his thyroid med gets crushed and put on his food. The other is insulin he gets 30 minutes after he eats so I have to monitor him.
