Wow, Wednesday already? I like how quickly this week is moving! I'm going in today on the early train and I have meetings all over campus today, so I will get a ton of steps! Yay! Yesterday I never moved more than 10 feet from my desk so I am happy I'll be able to get out and about today :)

QOTD: Do you wear arches in your shoes? I don't put in arches, but I often need to add moleskin or something in the back to stop my flats from slipping because they are usually a tad too big.

Accountability: I had one of those rare days when I was not hungry in the least, so I ran with it and barely ate anything all day. Hoping for two in a row, but I doubt I will be so lucky. If not, little bites all day of these things:

  • protein half-caf
  • egg white bites
  • spinach, goat cheese & chicken salad
  • garlic chicken

Good morning! If your weather is anything like it's been in DC then it will be a warm outdoor day for you! It was so hot yesterday!

Im in Philadelphia and my mom couldn't get the hotel room door open at 5:30 am to head to the hospital so I woke up due to the struggle and helped her. I'm just here reading The Women and soon I suppose I'll start the day!

Q: nope no arch supports for me. That's cute that your women's flats are too big, since you have kid feet! that picture last week of your feet next to Grim's feet was adorbs.

I suppose it's weird to post on a menu when I don't know my menu I know I will go down for coffee shortly. This Marriott has a full hot breakfast but I never like this particular breakfast I did bring some random leftovers from home on the train with an ice pack so I can have Leftover chicken quesadilla for a meal I will also get out and wander and pick something up for dinner Maybe a poke bowl since my mom isn't into that and she's overnight for her treatment

Have a wonderful mid week day all!

Good morning all. Halloween is over! By that, I mean I've worn a suit and dress shoes two days in a row. I don't know why it takes so much out of me, but it does. I mean, people do that every day, but I don't know how. I refuse to wear socks today. If I didn't have to go to the dentist, I'd refuse to wear pants.

QOTD: Ive looked into shoe inserts, but they are crazy expensive. When they are priced at more than half of what the shoes cost, I just opt for new shoes.

JB put my dress shoes on yesterday -- without taking her shoes off. Her foot and entire shoe slipped right in.

Oh my God you guys. There's this place near Boston, "The Good Feet Store," and they have ads on tv every morning. They almost always involve someone who talks about getting new insoles or socks, and their feet feel so much better afterwards. They all break down crying while telling their stories.

Good morning ~ I hear you on Wednesday already, me too. I'm feeling better. I think taking the meds on an empty stomach is what took me down. Today, I'm just very swollen and puffy all over, my face is quite a sight - whatev's. It's the beginning of the month and I have much to do. I have 3 days to reconcile everything for April because I'm out of the office all next week at a conference.

QOTD - I had plantar fasciitis for years in my 40's and I'm careful, but not a saint. At first I wore my custom orthotics only, then graduated to reg arch support and supportive shoes. I have no business wearing Rothys, but I love them and I can't find cute, comfortable, supportive flats - I've tried several and they're awful or just ugly. My walking/gym shoes and boots all have arch support, my slippers and sandals are all birkenstock, my flip flops are vionic and I don't go barefoot.

Accountability - None. I had yogurt, soup and crackers, gardettos, sausage grinder and a yasso bar. Okay - now I see why I am so swollen. 180.2 this am - deserved, next. But I did take little girl out on a very nice walk that resulted in a 3 hour nap. This morning it was all I could do to get out of bed. I will walk today or treadmill tonight.

B- coffee, yogurt and protein granola

l - turkey and cheese on protein bread

d - eggs and bacon

s - cucumbers

Have a great day!

Ditto with the plantar fasciitis I used to wear my custom orthotics all the time. I never go barefoot and my go to shoes are Merrell that have great arch support.
