Good morning, Chrissy and all!

I think that our peonies are a week late this year. They are budding, but no flowers, yet. Peonies are my favorite, though.

For a short week, this has been a tiring one. I went to swimming, but cut it after 1320 meters. I still have CrossFit this afternoon, so I don't feel too bad about it.

This weekend I am going fishing with my son. We are going in Western Wisconsin, kind of near Trish. Trout is our quarry.

70 work weeks until retirement.

QOTD: Go to bed before I fall asleep on the couch.

Breakfast: bagel

Lunch: Hot Dog

Dinner: not sure what time we get in

Have a great day, all!

Jim: Sounds like a wonderful weekend with your son. Those remaining weeks will pass quickly. Once you are actually retired you will find yourself wondering how you ever found the time to work. You are planning so well and wil be do active and busy.

QOTD: Nothing I can think of. I enjoy every day now and am thankful if I feel well and can do things. I love seeing a new spring and really understand the old advice to stop and smell the roses. I always had peonies and would cut them and put them in the kitchen in the spring. They dont last very long but are so beautiful when they do bloom. It is going up to the 80s next week so hope to get to the pool and get a little sunshine and possibly start to tan a bit.

Have a great weekend.

Chrissy, you have done great with this journey. Regain periods are part of it and you will lose that extra weight at some point. It took me about 2 years of following the new Weigh****chers program to lose about 30 pounds. It was one pound a week and many weeks no loss. But it was during COVID and I was stuck inside the house so attended one, two or sometimes three online meetings almost every day.

The new program is so different from the old Weigh****chers. Now you eat anything you please as long as you track it. It was a real change in my life and all the years of denying myself certain things or feeling so guilty when I ate them.

They do encourage you to keep moving and you are doing excellent at that. Could your mom really eat all of that? It looks so delicious but the size would overwhelm me. Sometimes I wish I could have my old stomach back for a while so I could enjoy a really big meal and fini****

Have a great weekend and thanks for starting today.

No, she only had a few bites, and she took it home. She's been snacking on it all week. Thank you for the encouragement. This is why I come here.

Good early afternoon Chrissy and everyone!

I had fasting bloodwork don't this morning. I have lost 15 pounds in about 2.5 months or so. I am proud of myself. It took a pretty darn low low to get me here but I am here and that's all that matters. I have had slip ups of course but being accountable is key for me. I have logged everyday for 50+ days. Yay me!

Chrissy, you have done very well! You encourage a lot of people and you're a good example of a success. We all have our moments but you should be very proud, you never give up! Keep your head up! You can do this!

QOTD: night time snacking. When I'm up by myself I tend to do boredom snacking. Even if it's "healthy" stuff I can easily over do it. Plus with the occasional feeling sorry for myself with the pain issue I can easily over do it too.

B: barebell bar, crackers and cheese + coffee

L: chicken tender, 5 chips and a small slice of watermelon

D: chicken breast stuffed with cheese and broccoli.

not great pics but was at the park and saw some baby geese and grackles begging for food.

Hi Chrissy and Co. Yay for it being Friday and the end of our huge celebrations month. Every family has one where you pack in a holiday or two plus multiple birthdays, wedding and death anniversaries, right? Just one more family event tomorrow. Can't believe how huge that dessert was for your mom, glad they boxed the leftovers for her to take home. Your eggroll in a bowl is inspiring, I bought ground turkey to make some PF Changs lettuce wraps and think I'll make it more like yours looks. Your peonies are glorious, you have a green thumb. The only time I've ever grown them it was a nursery mixup and they ended up being Japanese peonies so after a few years I shovel pruned them. I'll try to come back on my phone to edit this and add some pics, wish me luck. I'm not tech savvy.

QOTD-I'm working on getting back to no liquid with meals, no exceptions. The gateway dr*g for me was coffee with my breakfast.

Wanted to get out of the house and do some shopping for more diet-supportive foods. It took three hours of painfully slow walking to do Costco, my favorite thrift store for more tiny dishes and a local grocer with good sales. That has to count for exercise since I can't do anything else but stationary band work.

Weigh-in and the final dose increase for Contrave tomorrow so I'm trying to keep my sodium as little as possible so water weight won't be a factor.

B:Almond milk chocolate protein shake. It was so delicious and lasted hours.

L: A stalk of celery spread with a Laughing Cow Light wedge and 5 cherry tomatoes.

D: Still eating...1 Amylu chicken burger, 2 fat slices of tomato wrapped in iceberg lettuce leaves.

LS: Probably around 2 cups of watermelon cubes or as many as I can fit into my carb budget for the day!

Have a great weekend!

Chrissy thanks for doing this. I was so preoccupied with what I was doing on my Friday off I forgot to get back in the house to start the thread.

QOTD: I wish I could handle stress eating better. Some days I do really well and then others I just crash and burn. Then I get mad at myself for eating junk and letting the stress getting the better of me.
