Happy Tuesday Gang!! The heat and humidity came back yesterday and is supposed to be around until Thursday. While it makes things difficult to get done unless you get up early before the sun really gets up in the sky I would still prefer this than the cold, snow, and ice.

I'm in the scale house three days this week and next week then back to two days a week. The person who is out had her leave extended until the end of August. I personally could careless as I get 6% pay increase for the days, I'm out here but she is definitely ******g other people off since now four people have seen her out riding her new trike when she was telling people before she went out that she wouldn't be able to lift or do much of anything.

QOTD: Have you ever been in charge of dealing with someone in your workplace who isn't doing their job? Ironically as of July 1st all Operation Specialists are now responsible for the scale personnel at their respected faculties and how they are performing at their job. Each month I will have to do an unannounced audit in the scale to watch and see if she is doing her job correctly. If she is keeping the scale house, around the scale house, resident dumpsters and front gate clean. I know she's not going to be happy about it, but I have the email from corporate to back me up.

B: coffee and breakfast wrap

L: chili with pork shoulder cut up

D: grilled chicken and kale salad

No Y tonight I have some things that I need to get done at the house.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Good mornin y'all!

yesterday was a bit of a **** show. The kids were grumpy with each other. My mom had a melt down. Glad it's over and onto today. Speaking of which...I hit a milestone in a loss of my regain. I haven't really said how much regain I had. I regained all but 10 lbs of my original. I was so ashamed and remembered shame gets us no where. As of this morning I am under 300lbs! Woot! I'll toot my own horn thank you! It's been hard with all I have going on in my life. That's 30lbs or so... amber a bit more. I know the mounjaro is paramount to my success but I am still proud that I've stuck to it. I've logged for 110 days straight. Even when I don't want to and it's not very pretty every day. Yay me!

We've got a few things to do today. I need to pick up prescriptions and my mom needs some things from Walmart. I'm craving chili for some crazy reason so I may get some stuff for that. One of the local supermarkets has a green chili roasting fest so I may get some of that to make a green chili or ad some to some chili. We'll see what I do.

QOTD: I've never been in charge of anyone or anything really. I do decide dinner most days.

B: eggs, cheese and coffee

L: chimichanga

D: chili I hope

Good Morning! Yesterday came and went before I had time to post. We had a nice weekend, I didn't get new running shoes or a pedicure because we took a few random drives both days which was a nice break from the day to day routine. John goes back to work today after his vacation so we will be back to the normal schedule amd he seems to have taken time to relax and recharge so that's good. We are in the process of trying to sell my elliptical and change to a rower. I am not sure I will like it but I am tired of deaing with the issues with the many ellipticals we have had (the primary thing is they start to squeek and we can't get them to stop no matter what we do!).

QOTD: More times than I care to think about if I am honest.

Menu- I have my normal breakfast, lunch and snacks planned. For dinner, shredded pork burrito bowl with cauliflower rice, guacamole, cheese, sour cream, lettuce and two zero net carb tortillas.

I took a rest day, vits and water on track for the day.

Good morning, everyone!

I slept about 10 hours last night, so I'm feeling a lot better today. Our weather is about to turn, but I can't remember whether today is the last hot day or the first cooler day.

I have to call the dentist and schedule a time for him to see me this week. I'm not in fear of dentists, but I can't say it is something that I look forward to either. I will stick to soft foods today. Other than that, CrossFit and swimming, plus some calls for work.

I am our work department's lead for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk. As part of that I went to a program that highly recommended getting a Heart Scan. Marilyn and I are signed up for that on Friday morning. It's not covered by insurance, but not super expensive. There was a lot of attempted upselling when I called to make the appointment.

QOTD: Yes, I am doing that currently. I wish the person would just quit. But they won't.

Breakfast: bagel

lunch: salad

dinner: pasta

Have a great day, all!

Good Morning Jennifer and Menuers,

We have so many reading the tread but very few posting. STOP LURKING!!!! We want to hear your 2¢. If you are new to the surgery or if you're a vet, I'd love to see what is working or not working for you. Please chime in!!! I see last week a post got over 2000 views!!!! Don't be shy we won't bite.

OK so I have been struggling with hip pain in my right hip. I know I need to see an orthopedic, however I am already booked out of PTO. I have 2 trips planned before I reup. I don't get more time till October 21. I know some may be thinking I am crazy. I need the vacations for my mental health. I can handle physical pain way more than mental and I have no refundable reservations. I am going to try to do a few appointments so when I do up my PTO I will be ready if I need surgery. I may even do some chiropractor appointments to see if that will give me relief.

Last night I picked up 7 chickens from a local farm. $5lbs. I love that they are farm raised and no antibiotics or fillers. My only issue was she did not give me the gizzards, and I love chicken livers!!! She said she'll make sure I get them next time.

QOTD: I work straight commission sales. Shipping can affect me if they screw up orders, but it is not my place to correct them.

I made it clear that I wanted to work with computers and numbers. People made me crazy. Most of the time I have been able to get people to shape up when they were slacking and I was assigned to do something about it. But working with people is so much harder than numbers.
