Happy Friday-Eve menuer's. What a chilly morning here in CT. I harvested a bunch of the herbs and figured out what plants I will be covering tonight. I can't believe they are predicting a freeze tonight. Not even a frost, but a freeze. The weatherman said the temps in parts of Northern CT will be in the 20's. I do hope this doesn't mean we will be having a bad Winter.

Running out in a little bit to the get stuff for the luncheon today. Other than that not much going on a work. The outage is still going well.

QOTD: At what outside temperature do you turn the heat on? We usually don't put the heat on unless the outside temp stays at 45 degrees for at least 24 hours. I know it sounds crazy, but our house was originally heated by electric and is super insulated so it holds heat in well even if it is cold out.

B: coffee and protein shake

L: cold cut sandwiches

D: leftover pot roast

Irvin is a great grandpa again. He now has two great granddaughters.

Not sure if we will get to the Y tonight since I have a bunch of stuff to cover and harvest.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Good morning Jennifer and everyone.

Not sure what today'll hold. We might do something but I'm hoping to stay home. It'll depend on my mom. We might go to the thrift store since we'll be unable to go tomorrow as well have the kids. They are out for a 4 day weekend. Riley will stay the night sometime and Randall might too. Pumpkins are at a great price so we got them all one to carve. Oh I forget that so we'll have to go get some of the tools to do it.

Still no word on an orthopedic surgeon. I sent in a message to see what's up. Hopefully it'll light a bit of a fire to it. I can hope right?

QOTD: freezing. Sometimes at a higher temp and it's wet.

food is undecided.

pics of what I donated to the rescue and a box top I found at the thrift store.

Hi, sorry to be missing your posts since Tuesday. It has been a tiring few days and somehow I've got to miraculously get the house spic n span when there is no room to put anything away and also be working outside on the Autumn landscaping chores while the weather is still nice (expected to turn sour soon). Felt so down last night that I kind of binge ate on sugar free chocolate---not horribly but apparently it was enough calories that my body decided the famine is over and I dropped a little this morning. It was only 603 calories for the day but a whopping 46g carbs when my doctor said not to go over 20. I should be freaked out that the Contrave didn't take away the urges but it felt mostly like a pity party and not a pharma failure. But overall I'm having trouble keeping the carbs low this week.

QOTD: Our house is a 50's Rancher with minimal insulation in the walls so I put the heat on when it gets in the 60's outside now. But that may be because of losing weight again and getting cold so easily. I wake in the morning having dreams set in snowstorms and Hubby is as comfortable as can be.

B: My protein/collagen shake.

L: 1 cup nonfat Greek Yogurt w/cinnamon and 2 sweetener packets

D: 2 slices lowfat chicken lunchmeat chopped well and warmed in 2 T Arby's sauce, 4 big mushrooms sliced and sauteed in 1 tsp real butter

Congrats on the new great grandbaby!
