HI, I know this post is three years old, but how did things work out? I have also been denied and have asked Lindstrom to help me if the peer to peer with my doctor doesnt do any good. Did you get your insurance to approve you in the end?

using dr swain at honor bariatric for my revision sleeve to rny. i was previously working with dr madura at mayo. both very good. insurance reasons made me move from mayo to to honor but i think it actually has been a good thing. lots and lots of pre post and long term support.
interesting - my situation was just the opposite. i was scheduled to have a gastrojejunostomy but got denied at the very last minute because of the fact that i had previously had a sleeve. even though i am in a "normal"bmi range they are still having me go thru a bariatric center of excelence . i am fine with it in the end because i was approved very quickly. scheduled for 10/1
question is your pre surgery weight listed - your weight before or after your revision? may i ask when you had your original and your highest weight then. sleeve 2011 - highest weight 223 lowest weight 127. set point weight 140. current weight 160. having revision rny 10/1 for gerd but obviously would like to move to my set point again. not sure if lowest is possible just due to menopause etc.
I am looking for a good non-dairy protein shake. All of a sudden I can't drink Premier which was my go to?
How are you doing now? Has you issues been resolved getting the RNY? Also what complications were you having?
