... to adequately express how much you ladies mean to me! I felt your prayers and positive thoughts, and needed them SO much. I can't ever say thank you enough, but I must acknowledge you precious ones who went out of your way to make me feel loved. Every line of support on my surgery page is cherished. For those who expressed well-wishes and prayers on the board before and during my surgery. thank you from the bottom of my heart to: Melissa, Melony, Kathy, Darquise, Marcey, Nora, Dianna, Tonya, Pam, Suzanne, Patti, and Christine. For prayers and concern expressed here on the board after I was in ICU, my sincerest thank you to: Melissa, Kathy, Darquise, Tonya, Joan, Marcey, Melony, Dawn (Lady D), and Patti. For those beautiful E-cards sent through the hospital system, thank you to: Melony, Nora & Michael, Stephie, Crystal, Dianne, Tonya, and Melissa. They were printed on thick nice card stock, and will be something I treasure for a long time. For the lovely card and for visiting me in the hospital, thank you Tonya. I hope we are friends until we are 92. For the bath goodies gift basket, the visits in the hospital, and the FOOT RUB, thank you Melony. I've said it once, and I'll say it again: there is only one Melony. And aren't we the blessed ones to have you near us! And thank you, Melissa , for the Diet Journal (I'm already scribbling in it), for coming to see me in the hospital, and for keeping everyone here updated on me. I treasure our friendship. I truly hope I haven't left anyone out. If I have, will you please blame the pain meds??!! Love you all, Dawn

Full liquids have made a big difference! I'm still so full I never want to put anything in my mouth, but I'm trying to follow the schedule. Hope you have a safe trip this weekend! Dawn

Hi Darquise! I have been comparing this experience to childbirth! I felt so bad for the first week or two after I had my babies, and of course that memory faded to oblivion, with only joy over what I had been given. I am hoping this is JUST like that. Dawn
