HI Christine! I wanted to wish you all the best with your surgery and recovery. Remember to focus on the END RESULTS when going through any pain and discomfort. Your desire and determination has brought you this far and the journey ahead of us may not be easy but neither has been our struggle over the years to overcome obesity. Together we will emerge from our cocoons and live a healthy and happier life that we so deserve. Be ready to spread those wings and fly......... ~Peace & Love~

I want to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes. The last three days have been a little tumultuous with my recovering bladder from my surgery 7 !/2 weeks ago. I was afraid they'd postpone my WLS, but the docotr said this will not interfere. I may have the Foley catheter an extra day or nore, if my bladder takes a little longer to wake up post-op, but that's it. I want to give you all a chuckle- yesterday after I left the GYN/Urologist's office, I dropped a script at CVS and went to Piggly Wiggly to get Cranberry juice. Standing there in the aisle reading the labels, I peed my pants with no warning. Luckily the store was empty and I had a long shirt on and a pad on, but it really took my mind off of my upcoming surgery. Last night I woke myself and my husband up because I was moaning in pain, but nothing is wrong with my bladder....hmmm Today I am just taking it easy and re-reading everything re:RNY Lap, but aside from that, I have not even thought about my sugery for the last few days. I HAVE been thinking of legal counsel if my bladder issues do not resolve soon. Anyone ever had a bladder sling and post-op complications? Hugs! Christine

Christine, I just want to take this time to let you know you are in my prayers...Lord Jesus I ask on this day, at this time, that you place a hedge of protection around your daughter Christine. Jesus guide her surgeons hands, and the hands of all who will come in contact with her during her surgery. Let there be no fear...let your peace comfort and keep her. I ask that her recovery be uneventful, yet at the same time be speedy. For we know that by the stripes you bore for us, we are healed. Let those who will be a part of her recovery be caring and tender to her needs. I ask these things in Your Name Jesus, and I thank You in advance for hearing this prayer concerning You're daughter Christine. Amen.
