Um.... cheesecake, potato chips, ice cream. ....... yup in my dreams. I'm still pre op and trying to figure out the same thing. I don't really have access to a refrigerator but snacking at work is my worst enemy. Hopefully we will get some good ideas here.

Hey Low fat cheese sticks (9 g. protein) and crackers are my big snack items. I also eat the South Beach High Protein Cereal Bars (10 g. protein) if I am really hungry. --Kelly

Can we eat nuts? I love homemade trail mix with raw almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, soy nuts, but I didn't know if we could eat nuts anymore. Thanks!!! Christine

I am addicted to BBQ Soy Crisps (good source of protein and low in calories). I also like the Quaker cheddar rice snacks, the fruit cups (in juice, not syrup, of course), cheese sticks are always good, pita wedges with hummus.... Hope this helps! Hugs, Christine

snack really shouldnt be in our vocabulary plan 5-6 small meals and try to get away from the idea of snacking easier said than done.. I know preroll deli thin lunch meat and slices of cheese and keep a baggie in the fridge shelled nuts take more work and would keep you from eatting too many apple premixed tupperware of cottage cheese w/ sf davinici or sf torani syrup flavoring yogurt w/ TBSP granola protein bar - watch the calories vs protein vs carb ratio quaker q-bar, kashi bar - aim for those around 140 calories and atleast 10 g protein soy crisps, prebag a severing to keep you in check turkey jerky splenda sweetened pickles cut up cucumbers, carrots, tommatoes good luck Michelle - currently addicted to sunflower seeds - I do not recall anyone saying we can't eat nuts...pfft - just keep in mind the fats and calories are high for the small single servings

Raw almonds. Not roasted or salted, just raw plain almonds. Believe it or not they are delicious and good for you! A good fat! Any nut roasted takes all the good stuff out. They are even just a little bit sweet and you just have to eat about 3 or 4 and you feel satiated. Before the surgery, I never thought I would eat such a thing. Now I love them and feel safe when I have them around! Good luck! Terri 358/162 6'

I love mixed nuts, and pick out all the almonds first, and then leave the cashews for hubby. Skinny Bears (Slim a Bears, no sugar added) sometimes SF Popsicles sometimes Cheese sticks SALTINES....MY OLD FRIEND for calming a turbulent tummy/pouch and to take with meds Dannon Fit n Slim Carb Control, Drinkable Yogurt with a 1/2 scoop of Any Whey powder Fruit, I buy a bowl of mixed cut fruit and eat a little everyday to help with constipation Cheerios only once every other week with Hood's Carb Countdown milk and splenda I usually don't snack, but I have gotten into the International Foods French Vanilla Coffee, SF, and I put spray whipped cream on top These foods really are my meals, not my snacks...if I am bad, and that is not often, kettle corn, only orville redenbocker, tastes best, and I can't eat a lot of it Thanks! Great Question!!! Deb 289/173/160 @ 5'9" or 150lbs as my personal goal I eat about 2x per day and
