BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay,
I know I said this before, but here it is again.....we are definitely moving to Cali-freaking-fornia. (no offense to any Californians) I just don't wanna move 
Its okay, I am not that depressed, I am okay, just having to deal with moving, again, and we thought we were going to stay here forever!! 
So, here is the good news!!!!!!!! 
My hubby came into town on Friday night. I picked him up on base, and he was late. Got home, he wanted to go out to dinner, so we did, and when we got there the lady sat us down, and I saw my hubby telling her something, so she said, "oh, he has something to show you" and we walked around the corner and my entire family was there from GA. They all drove down for my 40th, and surprised me. 
Boy, was I surprised!!! 
I have never felt so many different emotions at one time in my entire life. I was happy, overcome, joyous, touched, moved, and kinda mad. It was my first weekend alone with my hubby and kids since he started his new job, and then I thought, yeah, my family loves me...but, I now have to entertain them all weekend, right after Harrison's graduation the prior weekend, so I was EXHUASTED.
So, my 40th, which is now technically today, June 13th!! Has turned out to be okay!
OH! I also went into Ann Taylor Loft today....as a buyer, not a looker, and was able to get all size 10's!! in shorts and pants, and I got 2 really cute skirts on sale, size...ready? 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SIZE 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never in a million billion years thought I would ever get in an 8!!! Now, granted they are flared skirts, but the 10's were just too big in the waist
So, I am also now going to postpone my plastics until we move to L.A. Who wants to come out there to have theirs done? You can stay with me!!! 
Maybe Dr. Li from 90210 or Dr. Katzen?? 
YEAH!!! On my 40th I am a size 8/10!!!!!!!!!! 
That alone is the best part of the whole thing!!!!!!!!!! 
I love you guys! I am going to miss you all so much, but at least we can stay in contact via the forums!!! Promise you will visit me in the OC!!!

And you thought this birthday would be horrible. Sounds to me as though you did good! that was so cool about all your family coming in, made it very special. Now about the size 8 that is wonderful and I meant what I said about your 12's, I was at Marshalls the other day and all the pants I tried on were 12's and I found the nicest linen pants suit the whole thing was a 12 top and bottom, and it fit like it was made for me. I'm like you I never ever thought I would be here. The smallest I have ever been was a 16 and now when I see them, they look so big. Anyway Happy Happy Birthday and just think of all the shopping you can do in California, you know the styles are different! Dona
