i was wanting plastics.. but that scares me!!! it hurt:? it looks painful.. and yes my ortho surgeon who operated on my ankle at least did a straight line.. bless ur heart! :(

this is the hernia repair ... it hurt like HELL !!!!!! and still hurts but he called me a druggie and refused to give me more pain meds.... he feels everybody heals the same so oh well.... I'm eatting 3 extra strength tylenols for the pain and it doesn't help that much but I'll get over it Stephie

yea i knew it was for the hernia.. what ps was it so i make sure i bypass him? LOL  esp about the drug thing wth hes a moron.. pain management is the best way to heal!

Since I work in the hospital, i have seen many hernia repairs and other plastic surgeries. I don't remember ever seeing one that looks that bad. Maybe the doctor was taking those drugs he refused to give you or he was drunk or asleep. Why didn't he just go ahead and do your abdomialplasty at the same time like most of them do?, that way the insurance would have paid for that too. I hate to say it but it looks like your going to be needing plastics just from what he did to you. Where do you live in SC? I can give you the name of a good plastic surgeon.I have seem a lot of  the work that the ones in the same office have done and so far they have all looked great. So sorry you are going through this, just the fact he won't give you something for pain control tells me he is a quack. Take care!Mary

OUCH!!!!! That looks painful! Was that a surgeon in Charleston?? I need hernia repair with a tummy tuck. I just wanna make sure I don't pick that surgeon. Sorry you went through that.
