Hey D.K., I have this insurance through another company. You need to call the insurance company. The benefits department and ask them is bariatric surgery covered. Specifically gastric bypass. Thats what I did and found out just yesterday that my policy has a written exclusion for this. I had my consult monday and everything was a go until I found that out. Call your insurance company before you go any further. Good luck!! Tonya

Thanks Tonya, I have called and they say it is covered if it is medicaly neccessary. I'm just a worry wart and wanted to talk to someone that has already gone through the approval process and ask them how they were to deal with. Thanks Again, Debbie
