Topic: Almost 4 years out and still having problems.

I take all my vitamins, still drink protein shakes most of the time, but have fallen back to eating regular foods quite a bit. I have also started having major sugar cravings and have been eating chocolate truffles to get through them, mostly at night. Is this why I feel bad all the time? I am always tired and dizzy and have trouble keeping my blood pressure up. However, I actually had not had an episode of dumping in months then all of a sudden I had one this weekend that almost landed me in the emergency room. I had eaten 3 small chicken strips, a few fries, and some celery in ranch dressing. I have been eating like this without any real probems for quite a while. This time though, my chest was hurting, my heart was racing, and then came the stomach pains. I promise it is worse than hard labor! It came in waves for about an hour and then I finally was able to us the bathroom some. The pain still came and went and then I heard a gurgling noise in my intestine(it always does this during one of these episodes) after which I had diarrhea. I know this is graphic yall but I seriously need to know if others of you who had surgery this long ago are having the same problems or if something is wrong with me. Please give me any thoughts you may have.

That was everything since I used his facility for my surgery. Keep in mind all doctors charge different prices and make sure you do a lot of reserch on the doctors in your area, as in any other field of medicine, not all doctors are created equal, and all patients are different with different experiences.

Good Luck!

Topic: RE: Plastic Surgery
I had mine done at the PS's surgery center and I paid $11,700.00 for a  lower body lift and breast lift/reduction. Everything was done at the same time and I went home the same day. I was a little nervous about having it done as outpatient surgery but, I am glad I did, other wise I would have been looking at paying out more than double that amount for an over night hospital stay. I figure I can take my own pain meds, since that is all they would do at the hospital anyway. My doctor called me that same night and the next morning to check on me. I had a very good experience, very little pain, and I went back to work in 4 weeks. It would have been sooner but one of my drains didn't come out until three days before returning to work. I would do it all over again if I had to and I am very happy with how it turned out. It's wonderful having a flat tummy and boobs that are up where they should be, lol.

Take care!
Mary

HI Mary,
Thanks for the replies. If you don't mind my asking, about how much was that surgery out of pocket?

Hey!

Congrats!!  I am still having issues too......I got all the way down to 140 last June, and then to 154 at Christmas....then in February I found out I had Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism and my weight has ballooned to 175 today.

Lovely.   Its so bloody depressing, but my medication is NOT working.....everyone said it would come back off as soon as my thyroid got regulated, but it has not.....its climbing and my clothes do not fit.

Depression is my biggest obstacle at the moment, that and only crbus are the only thing that fit!!

Hugs, and congrats!  There is always some rebound weight gain, but usually not much.

Hugs and Kisses,  and congrats again!
