I NEED Prayers Please

Last week my dad was in the hospital with a wound infection from a callous from undiagnosed diabetes. His circulation is poor and if his wound doesn't heal and if they don't break up some of the blockages he could lose his leg. My mom has dementia and has had several strokes and now she is sick. She was in the ER last night but they sent her back home. A home health nurse comes to take care of my dad and will be coming to evaluate my mom today. My aunt has been taking care of them for the last week but she's also sick, so I'll go down this weekend to give her a break. My sister that lives in Nashville went down last night. Please pray for my family.

Oh, I know from where you come.  We are the sandwich generation.  My dad had bilateral amputations and severe heart disease.  He died 10 years ago.  I still miss him today.  My mom has severe Alzheimer's and my saintly brother has moved in with her to take care of her-he with the heart condition! He says he promised my dad he would take care of her and he will for as long as he can.  When my dad was ill, I was his primary caregiver and I had two teenagers of my own and two foster sons at the same time to try to keep up their grades, keep out of trouble and get into college.  I certainly empathize with you and you and your family are in my prayers.

I am sorry to hear of all the sickness and trouble that has been on your family, but you are definitely in my prayers and thoughts.  I hope all will resolve very soon so that your lives can get back to normal and not stressed out.  Praying for your folks that they will heal up soon.
