I guess everyone just automatically goes to the main message board but your right, it is fun to hear from people here at home.
I go tomorrow to have my first meeting with my Doctor.
I have been waiting for a month to get this first step over with I hope I get some good news and I will be able to have the surgery.
Its good to hear from another Utahn thats been through this.

I would like some help from the Members here on Obesityhelp. Ponder on this and respond with your
favorites or any ideas you may have on what you would love to be served at a Luncheon Style Buffet.
Things that us WeightLoss Surgery People could eat. Such as cheese, cottage cheese, entre's such as
sausage balls, hamburger steak, etc.... Any help would be greatly Appreciated.

Do you like to throw a party? Then OH is looking for you!
The outreach department of OH is looking for volunteers nationwide. Regional and National meetings are currently being planned. You can be a part of the fun!
Volunteers must posses some basic knowledge of event planning and or hospitality industry. Interested parties should be able to research suitable venues for meetings in their area (region) to hold 50 - 500 persons. Strong written and verbal ability a plus. Researching local support group's leaders contact information for easy coordination with events planning staff. Dear trouble with Hubby
I had my surgery Oct 2-03 I am 61 pounds down and still can not believe it.
It has been the best thing for me, My hubby and family know how hard I have struggled but where not happy untill I really had a heart to heart with them, I explained how yes i could die BUTT I was already dying alittle each day and I believe in a higher power that softened there minds and hearts they some how came around with support and compassion, they knew i wanted there blessing but it came down to the fact that i had tryed everything and this was my decision. I had type 2 diabeties, no period for ever, high lipids. death warrents in the long run, I am soooo happy to say that i had my first period last month and my blood tests where great no more high sugar in this girl. Keep the faith listen to your heart. Your husband will come around, study as much as you can ask questions remember knowledge is power. God Bless. Tammy
