I'm really worried. My surgery is tomorrow morning and I'm so afraid it's going to be postponed. I weighed myself and I've gained weight. I've been walking more to get my cardiovascular system as healthy as possible before the surgery and now I've gained weight!! I was specifically told not to gain weight and now I am freaking out. I don't want to have top wait anymore than I already have. Please, can anyone help me with this? Did anyone have this same problem? I am having open RNY on December 29, 2003 at St. Marks hospitol. Dr. Halversen will be my surgeon. I am looking for a support group to help me throught this whole process. I have not paid for my post-op education through RMAP, so I am looking for other options. I have met wonderful people already and want to continue meeting more. Denise, you know who you are. I am soo thankful we have the same day, doctor and hospital. Now if he could just do us both at the same time. So if anyone has any suggestions or comments please let me know. Hi there again woman. I am soo excited that we are going to have this done at the same time to support each other. We now only have 6 days left. With Christmas in there it will be here faster than we think. I went to my all time favorite chinese place with my dad tonight. Oh man was I in heaven....I think I enjoyed it more knowing that it was my last time. Talk to you soon Kristy
