Well it is about that time of year again. Bathing suit time. You can not go into a department store without noticing all the itty bitty teeny weeny pieces of spandex that retailers call bathing suits. Some of them are not much more than brightly colored band-aids with straps and a slim fitting pair of panties to match!! I am going to the beach this June and I really need to myself modivated to go swim suit shopping before all the realistic suits are sold out and all that is left is the size 2 thong bikinis that I wouldnt wear even if I were a size 2!!! But every time that I take a couple of suits into the dressing room... the mirror turns into the devil himself! I start to see every roll, bump, sag and wrinkle that my body has to offer. I did not know that finding a swim suit to fit me after I lost weight would be so hard. Last summer I found plenty that I could wear. This year... the sagging skin is much more noticable and I need to find me a swim suit that goes to my knees! Maybe I am on to something here.... Capri swim wear or bermuda swim suits!!! Have a blessed Monday everyone!!! Cathy

Yeah last year only having lost part of my weight, I was satisfied with what I ended up with. This year I am going, ewwwl ook at my legs, ewww look at my arms. I did purchase one so far, a tankini that I really like, tie halter style (to help hold up the girls). Thinking about looking for a one piece also but it kind of scares me. Good luck and remember it could take time to find the right one. I had to go to 13 stores last year (literally) before I found one I like. Courtney

Last year I accomplished this by getting an inexpensive one-piece at Walmart and then wearing small shorts over top. I don't need the shorts for my legs, but I refuse to shave THAT part of my legs, so I just cover it up. At 56, being Bathing Beauty is not on my agenda, but I am happy, comfortable and look decent in my combi-suit. Good luck Lois

I have tried some on and OMG!!!!! Scary. Me and my friends joke about getting a wet suit to hold all the skin in place. LOL! But I am thinking about it. Good luck on finding a suit. Corinn 245/182/130

I'm dreading this. I'm going to try and find a one piece that has some large booty shorts that cover the tops of my legs a little bit too! No boobs and rubber legs, not exactly bathing suit material. I want to buy one now, but hopefully I'll be down quite a few more pounds this summer. Happy Monday! Amber

This is just a thought, I have been looking online for bathing suits as I am going to Jamaica in July. I noticed that there are quite a few that come with a skirt pc or a really nice sarong. I think I am going to do the sarong thing so I do not need to tan...lol . My major complaint is the cost. Who decided that you need to pay $80-$100 for some thick underwear....

You just reminded me on another thing... my tan. You should see my legs! They are so bright that you need sunglasses on just to look at them! I am with ya on the price issue. The cost of a good bathing suit that will hold everything in place is outragous! Have a blast in Jamaica! Sounds like a dream vacation to me. Cathy
