Oh My Word A WOW

I didn't go out in the madness this morning, but my 20 year old son did. I had warned him before he left it would be a nut house out there. I usualy go to the Black Friday sales and have for the past 10 years about but this year I just said no Iam not going to go through all of that this year. Well, My son left about 3:30 am and got back home around 9:30 and he was shaking his head. I asked him how was it? He said he had never seen anything like it. lol  Some of the things he wanted they did not have so he was alittle upset about that.  I asked him if it was worth getting up so early? He said Yes. I will give him another few more years and I bet he will not be going out to the madness sales. lol Have a great weekend everyone. Gwen

WOW!  I guess I hit the right stores at the right time.  I was out by 4:00 and headed tot he Navy Exchange, where I purchased a new Dooney & Bourke Bag (w/ matching wallet) for myself, a pair of motorcycle riding boots for hubby and some NFL jerseys for the kids.  I saved about $200.00 at the Excahnge alone. And got right into line without issue.  The ladies around me and I were having such fun.  We were laughing and carrying on.  And yep...we got a little carried away running for the Coach, and Dooney's.  But...it was FUN!!!! Then, headed for Kohls where I purchased a memory foam pad for the bed, a pair of pants for me (w/ matching top of course), diffusers, crock pot and a few other things.  Saved over $150.00 there, because I had a 15% off on top of the sale price (cool...huh??).  Stood in line about 20 minutes. Went to Sears and I got a freestanding heavy bag for kickboxing.  That was an early gift that I have been dieing for.  Saved $30.00 on it and only stood in line about 10 minutes. Went to Target and bought 2 pairs of jeans and a top...yep...for me again. BUT...the best deal was at the Harley shop.  I bought hubby a leather jacket - regular price wa $420, and I got it for $98.00 - it was on clearance and all clearance items were 75% off until 10:00.  COOL!!!  Yep....bought one for me, too - haha. But, I was done and at IHOP for breakfast by 830.................... Sorry you had a rough experience.........................

Black Friday is crazy, but you have to go into it with a sense of humor to begin with. I love to watch all the CRAZY people fight over the last DVD or toy.... or what ever the lasted good deal is. People get a crazed insane look in their eyes when they go out on black friday. I was there, but I did not get to town until around 5:30am. The place that really scares me is the parking lots!!! People drive like NASCAR drivers to get a good parking place!!!!! You have to laugh at them. I am glad that you are laughing and not in jail getting booked for ramming a shopping cart into somebody at Walmart.... Hope to see you SOON!!!!! Cath

Well girlie fun is fun and watchin sillyness is funny but these people were CRAZY throwing stuff they trapped me in a place where I couldnt get in or out I had to scream STOP at 2 women so I could get myself squeezed by them an the counter I was like let me the heck out of here an then Im the one who got rammed in the back w/ the buggy like I needed that my back has been quiet but well tonight I cant say that. I told those women there was nothing in that store worth them acting like they were. And yes the parking lot here is very small and it was like carts going one way and cars going the other way. Next year Ill go to penny's for the snow globe and home. They can keep there Black Friday's unless it is later in the day because the rest of the day went fine.
