Just wanted to say hello to all and wish everyone well. Id like to take this momement though Im not a Redskins fan and say a little prayer to the family of Sean Taylor I really don****ch football but when it comes to the Skins and the COwboys I do. But the death is such a tragic one. It makes me stop and take a second look at my own life and thosearound me just how precious they are. So please as Kat say in so many of her posts, bring the Lord into your lives and ask him to turn our lives around. There is so much evil in the world today its scarey. We dont know from one day to the next what may happen in our own worlds its truly scarey. Im sickend at the way the world is heading  each day and this boys death and the children that are dying at the hands of there own parents it angers me to no end. Please pray for these familys they need our love. Sorry for being so sappy today but thats me, lol hope you have a great day and we see more posts, the board is slowing up again. We need to come up with a game or something. Has anyone heard from my sista Ann hows she doing I miss her on her terriably? How about Jill Dennis, and Tiffany? hummm who else is missing lets do a missing list of people and seek out to find them, Joann, Natalie, Shannon, Holly , Keith, was so good to see Wendy on here the other day Id like to see some of the others on here, Where is my Tonya Miss T. girlfriend did you see I passed my GED? Cappymoon where is she her sister Julia? help me out her folks.keep adding to the MIA list till we get them back.

Good morning i hope this finds you doing pretty good. I agree with you where is everyone. Yes I am praying for Sean family and all his team mates this is a trying time for them. You are right like Kat say trust in the Lord and he will provide for us. My dad is doing some better and I am waiting to see if I get the job I interviewed for yesterday at the hospital. Thank you for your prayers for me and my dad they are appreciated. Please keep them going as they are working. Hope that you have a nice week.

Prissy I am getting ready to sign up for college courses too.  I finally figured that since I have to take college type continuing education courses for my real estate license I might as well jump in and try college too.  I am going to try online courses as it will fit my schedule better.

That sounds like a great job, working in the ER as a receptionist, I did that about 25 yrs ago and still remember how exciting it was. Especially the evening shift. Here's sending prayers your way that you get the job! As for your husband, have you ever tried to get a man to change ANYTHING! It just doesn't happen. I think they have a deep seeded fear of change. And a change of job, man that would be really frightening to his sense of security. So sometimes we just have to go with the flow and as long as they are bringing home the bacon, be thankful!  I have one of those also.LOL.Pam

It will be a patient registar in the ER department the hours will be 3:30 p.m. to midnight M-F so that is not bad and I think that I will enjoy it. It will also get my foot in the door. What do you want to do? Something in the office, medical or maybe even teach. You can do whatever you put your mind to and succeed. I am proof of that I did not think that I could do all that I am doing. So just think postive and things will turn out the way that you want. I am proud of you for getting your GED and doing something with it instead of just getting it not doing anything like my husband. He is still doing what he was doing before he got it. Let me know how things go. Sending you my love and hoping for the best for you.

It is mostly keying on the computer, keying patient information, answering questions about patients, trying to keep patients calm and answer the phones and transfer calls to the Er staff and patients. Take co-payment and insurance information. It is really not that hard to do. Customer service is a big help because that is what you would do the most. You can go online to the hospital close to you and see what they have job wise and what each postion does. Hope this helps you.

Morning Melinda - I suspect most are here and there and everywhere. Sure would be nice to hear from some others I agree. My prayer list has certainly be growing. Things are definitely not like they used to be. I've heard from Ann & she's doing well. I'm sure she'll get around to posting shortly. In fact, I really need to respond to her message. So, I'm going to this am to early pm. Hopefully others will say hello & let us know they are doing well. I'm in search of some holiday spirit so I'm working on Cmas related projects, listening to holiday music and pulling out some more holiday related items. Went to the store and bought some festive smelling candles. Gonna hit up Yankee Candle this weekend for the long lasting/smelling ones & hope to get in some others things. Bout to change my flags out front from Fall to holiday ones. Gonna get some lights out there as well. Enjoy your day, give the Lord your thoughts & prayers! All best....

Hello Melinda,  The death of Sean Taylor really is such a tragdey. He was only 24 years old! He was just a kid and such a talented one at that! I saw on ESPN today that all of the teams in NFL are going to wear a "21" sticker on their helmets in honor and memory of Sean.  Thanks for all of your posts....happy ones and the serious ones...... Cath
