Anyone going to miss the Sock Hop?

Im going to miss the Sock Hop this year?

It was a tough decision, but DH and I are going to Annapolis for the weekend to enjoy the sights (he's never been) and our first wedding anniversary.  We got a great rate from a friend of ours who works at a marriott.   So we got a room overlooking the Annapolis Harbour ... so a nice seafood dinner ... maybe some jazz... should make for a great weekend.

I will miss everyone at the Sock Hop.  Maybe we can host a BBQ this summer and everyone can come crash my house... :) Please take lots of pictures and bring back lots of stories!

Hello Amanda,  I am going to miss the Sock Hop also... I have never gone to one of the conferences. I never seem to have the extra cash flow to be able to afford it. So, regretfully, I am going to miss out on all the fun once again. Maybe I will be able to work some OT and have some extra money so I will get to go the the summer bash.  Your romantic weekend sounds wonderful. It sounds like a wonderful anniversary weekend!  Have a great time and you will be missed.  We'll definately have to catch up another time!

Good am Amanda - No Mam I'm not attending the Sock Hop. We've got a JAM PACKED weekend. THE biggest event is our oldest bugga is turning SEVEN years old! Enjoy your anniversary weekend and Annapolis is AMAZING as my hubs & I went for a weekend & it was just beautiful. We had REAL Maryland Crab cakes, shopped, walked, saw the capital and so much more. Its GREAT! All best....

I am not going to make it this year either.  Unfortunately we just have too much going on right now and can't figure in the sock hop.  I have been to some of the conferences and they are definitely nice events.  I will miss seeing everybody.  Hope you all that are going have a great time!!

I'll be at the conference on Saturday, but won't be at the sock hop, either.  Hubby and I are going to a show that night, which means that I have to get back here, change and run back out the door.... Have fun on your mini-vacation..............

Since I suck at planning in advance, I wont be at the sock hop  or the conference either... I visted Annapolis a couple months ago and LOVED it! What a quaint little town. I know that you'll have a fantastic time there also! xo Joy 

William and I won't be able to make it either.  We're going to NJ to see my family - doing Christmas in January with them. We went to the first conference in Jan. 2006 (1-21-06).  Actually that's where William and I met!  (thanks to Tammy C.'s angelic match-making skills and making sure she got us together :-) We're looking forward to the summer bash!!!!  The summer bash we went to before was fabu!!!!!!!!!
