Holy Inspiration Batman!!

I can't hold it back anymore. You dang ladies out here on the VA board are just so freaking supportive and encouraging, and uplifting and inspiring,.....besides just being plain ole gorgeous. I enjoy reading the Men's Board, the Exercise and Fitness Board, and the VA board (its kinda my home base).   I don't feel comfortable jumping in all the time as it seems like girl talk is more appropriate amongst yourselfs and comments from me (serious ones or my warped efforts at periodic humor) would be intruding or out of line,...plus I can seldom offer better advice than what is provided by others out here.  But I do read the posts and admire your friendships and bonding.   I sometimes catch myself being jealous I'm not one of the girls. I'm not a wacko or a pervert but I really admire you guys and get a bit of that good feeling I witness out here facilitating the WLS group that adopted me as their,...faciltator (OK I am goofy...). Reading your posts do help me keep intouch with whats is important in the day to day lives of thwe women in our group (an indirect perk of the Board for me). Never-the-less.  I just couldn't keep from telling you guys how wonderfully terrific you guys,...terrific ladies are for each other and even though I'm a guy.....I benefit from your lifting each other up and your successes.   When you admittedly fall down or mess-up, but fallback and regroup , ask for some help, and get and give some good advice and love to each other.  Then to see you try again, rise up and keep progressing in whatever area it is you are working,...it is just awesome and inspiring! You guys are beautiful inside and out.  And maybe it is good to hear that someone outside the loop. I haven't seen Amber post in a awhile, is she OK??  I worry but fear coming across as trying to hit on somebody.  I'm married, with 3 daughters, and I know people cheat but thats not me.  I just have grown attached to you guys,...er um ladies. Keep doing what you do

Joe - after such a nice email how about we make you an HONORARY LADY and you can post as you like! I am sure we are not looking at you as any kind of strange person....... and you do have a lot to contribute and the board is better for you being on it. Morning Joe, I agree with Jackie lets make you one of us. We are just people trying to lose weight and supporting each other, whether it be man or woman if you need to say something say it. that is what we are here for.

Dang Joe why dontcha say how ya really feel? I have to say though I'd very much like to see everyone's input. Guys, dolls....support is support so find yourself dropping some verbage more often if ya can get in a word edge wise. Kidding! We ALL have something to offer. About this jealousy thing I don't know how that works but I will say I personally love the other's perspective on things. It makes for interesting sessions in the brain. Thanks for the compliments. I think everyone can agree they are spiffy to see/hear. Does wonders for the heart, soul & spirit I say. Amber is hanging in send up some prayers if ya would for her. Maybe email her & say "hey." Joe,  Thank you for the compliments! We ladies on this board welcome any and all of your comments to us on any of our many posts. It is always a good thing to have a "mans point of view". I dont let any of the binders of todays society that tell me that I cant talk openly and honestly to a person of the oppisite sex because I may come across as being flurtatious or hitting on someone. Pooey on that! We are all on the WLS journey together and we are here for each other regardless of our gender. So if you want to be one of us girls.... come on! We would openly accept you just as you are. Facial hair and all. hey... Some of us girls have that too you know... We just dont usually talk about it... Aawwww, shucks!  What a very sweet compliment.  I know that ALL of us appreciate your words.  But...feel free to jump in at anytime.  This is not a girls club, and i know for me, I sometimes need a male's perspective to this process. And definately jump in on the exercise thread - you're a runner, like I am, and would LOVE your insight, how you ar doing, training for anything, blocks, etc.  Especially since I think we can relate to each other on it.
