There was 2 WOW moments for me today at my 2 year check up with Dr. Schirmer. #1- I have lost 15 pounds this past year. I did not realize that I had lost that many. I had forgotten what I weighed at my last check up.  I guess that I did know that I had lost, but, I wasnt sure how much. 15 doesnt sound like much, but to me being 2 years out... I am pleased!!!! #2- My appointment was at 2:30, I got there at 2:20 and I was back in the examination room by 2:25. I was sent down to dracula's castle ( blood work drawn) by 3:00, and I was done getting my blood drawn in about 5 minutes!!!! I have NEVER been in and out of there that quick.... (thank you snow storm!!!) They were just getting ready to shut down and go home for the day due to the storm. I did call them prior to getting on the road and making that trip over the mountain, and they told me that everything was a go and they were seeing patients as usual today........ Oh well, it turned out to be just fine, although we did see quite a few accidents along the way! I hope that everyone had a safe and warm day today in our first big storm of the year... Tootles!!!! Great job Cathy!  15 lbs is definitely something to be proud of.  Proof that with hard work & dedication our tools will work.
