Home from the hospital...
Well, I made it home from the hospital and knee surgery #5. GOD IS GOOD!!! I prayed and prayed that I would not have to be on crutches for 8 weeks this time...He answered!! Only a week! Wooohooo!!! Details are in my profile...
Once again - He has taught me to always look for the good in everything...
So, today...I am on the couch...catching up on e-mail and working on my book again. After talking with Katie Jay and Merri Goldberg at the Richmond WLS Conference - they really encouraged me to stop procrastinating and get it done!
I think I'm also going to work on my quilt I have been hand quilting...and see if I can get a few more squares done. I was trying to read - but I keep falling asleep! - (it still amazes me how fast they work now!)
Anyway - I just wanted to drop in and say hi - and just remind everyone to remember to look around for all of the little blessings! Have a great day!
Many Hugs!
Jill

Something to think about...There are two ways of spreading light...to be the candle or the mirror that reflects...No matter what may cross your path today...choose to have a great day!!!

So glad to hear your knee surgery went well and you only have to do crutches for a week!
What type of quilt are you working on? Any particular pattern? I love hand made quilts and love looking at the different patterns and applique processes. I have yet to really start and finish a project though. I don't know all the tricks to make the piecing easier and usually get bored and move onto another project. HA HA. I'm the QUEEN of unfinished crafting and sewing projects. :) I'm hoping to work on finally getting my "artsy-fartsy" room fixed up so I have my crafting and sewing area. Since we moved nearly a year ago my AF room has been the box room. My sister-in-law said she was going to suggest to my husband to get off his rumpus and help me get it finally cleared out. My poor kitchen table has been my staging area for way too long. :)
It was such a pleasure meeting you and Jon at the conference and I really enjoyed your presentation. :)
