GOOD MONDAY AM YA'LL!!!

Good am, How are ya'll doing? Wonderful I hope! How was your weekend? Ours was on the go, go, go filled with lots of interesting weather, moving, running around, errands, chores, some shopping, lots of surprises and great convos and fun. I am still feeling muscles in places I'd forgotten about but I'm happy about it. Managed to watch a couple movies and spend time with my family (immediate & some soon to be added ones). Good Luck Chuck & Dedication...one is funny & the other is all about the choices we make in our lives and how words should be chosen carefully heck actions too. I always say words + actions are a necessary combination in my life.  So, what's on the books for your Monday? I'm going to be catching up with a few folks as well as chores and also walking & stretching. Hopefully I'll be able to find some down time to work on a couple To Do List items that require alone time. I have some planning to do for some future events/get togethers coming up and am really looking forward to it. Am making adjustments to my schedule for a "night out" once a week. Also, prayers being sent up for several folks this am.  I got this in an email LONG ago but its really great and I love sharing it. I hope you'll take a read and take the message to heart. Enjoy your Monday & smile your best smile. Share your heart with others and spread cheer & joy every chance you get. Remember you can make a difference in just one person's life but talking, listening, smiling, lending a hand, opening a door, helping with fallen books and/or papers, etc. Acts of kindness random or intentional are truly beautiful & inspirational much like this below story. All best for a FANTASTIC Monday!  A 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud man, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with his hair fashionably combed and shaved perfectly, even though he is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today. His wife of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, he smiled sweetly when told his room was ready.   As he maneuvered his walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of his tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on his window.   "I love it," he stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.   "Mr. Jones, you haven't seen the room; just wait."   "That doesn’t have anything to do with it," he replied.   "Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it. "It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do.   Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away just for this time in my life. Old age is like a bank account. You withdraw from what you've put in so, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories!  Thank you for your part in filling my memory bank. I am still depositing. Remember the five simple rules to be happy:  1) Free your heart from hatred 2) Free your mind from worries 3) Live simply 4) Give More 5) Expect Less Have a nice day, unless you already have other plans.

Good am, You've got a PM. I do understand about time constraints and needing/wanting to get more done than you really have hours in the day. Thanks & hope you have a great day as well. My "worry" is off and my "positive thinking" is on. I am working on banishing negativity from my brain/life as much as possible. It helps that there has been a lessening of "negawarriors" (negative warriors cause drama/chaos) as I've deemed them bugging.

I have read that e-mail before and it is so true.... Life is what you make it, you make the choices, you can choose to be misserable or happy what ever the situation..... I tell my kids that all the time. They get tired of my lecturing, but I refuse to stop! It is my given right as a mom Thanks for the inspiring words! I enjoy reading your posts. Have a blessed day!
