New here - saying a big old Howdy!!

I am newish to this board but have been lurking here for a few years. I realized I had just jumped right in today without saying howdy! So I am happy to be living in Virginia now after spending most of my life in Texas. I am 4 years post op and mighty happy to be here - four years ago I sure was unhappy and did not think I would be around too much longer. Before surgery I had a ton of different illnesses and thankfully most are gone. The rest I live without without complaint.  I sure would love to get to know you more  - I do talk too much and sometimes say the first words that come into my head -  I don't mean nothing by it - just want to help. I promise to try and keep the foot out of my mouth but I feel like I have been here a while even though ya'll don't know me! I know most of ya'll from profiles - some real inspiring stories here - ya'll make me proud to be here! Rosie

Rosie, here's an "official" Welcome to the VA Board! Congratulations on your wonderful success and maintenance for 4 years. I bet you have a lot to share with us, since you are so far out. This is a great board with some terrific people on it, so I'm sure you will enjoy getting to know everyone all over again!

Welcome, Rosie... Glad you jumped in.  This board is full of great people, lots of inspiration and support. Nice to get an "old timer"...not all of us are that far out.  I read your profile and it appears that you are pretty successful.  Glad to see that!!! WELCOME!

Welcome Rosie!!!  Another big mouth, eh?  Well, there's plenty of room for 2 of us...LOL!!!  I tend to be a bull in a china shop too so you're in good company. So where'd you live in TX?  Not my favorite state, but have spent much time there & currently have family there.
