Hi Waverly! Welcome to the VA board...a FABULOUS group of people!!! I see that you are a fellow reenactor. Hubby & I currently do cavalry impression, but previously was infantry...ANV...13 VA, Co A, under the command of Troy Fallin who I understand has recently taken over the duties of Col. Brittan. Who are you with? Will you be attending New Market this year? Maybe we can arrange to hook up in person? Anyway, good luck on this new adventure...it's a heck of a ride, for sure!!!

Hi Anne, Thank you for the warm welcome. I reenact with the 5th Virginia Infantry Co.L "West Augusta Guard" We formed out of the old 5th Va last year. You may remember Carl Brandt. I know Troy pretty well, have actually hung out in your camp a few times. I won't be at New Market this year, but going to Ft. Pocahontas for a change. But I'm at most events this year. I'm looking forward to being a skinny confederate soldier someday soon! Thanks and take care. Waverly

So good to have a fellow reenactor in our midst, Waverly. I am guessing that you know Hillary too & I was wondering if you know whether or not he got approved for wls too? I know he was looking into it, but never heard the outcome. If ever there was a darling soul that could use the benefits of wls, it's Hill. I've worried about him often over the years...he's such a dear man. And Lord knows it would relieve some worry on the part of Barb & Jeb too. I'm sure we'll bump into each other some time this year!
