WELCOME TO MONDAY YA'LL

Good am,

How are ya'll doing? How was your weekend? Ours was spent on the go for the most part. We got a lot of chores and errands done and eventually spent Sun resting up. I managed to catch up with a couple folks I'd been missing so that was nice.

What's on the books for your Monday? Work to get out of the way then hopefully some time to catch up on rest. My back/neck have been fussy so I need to nurse them. I'm supposing pushing myself had NOTHING to do with it. The buggas are still resting so I'm off to get some things done.

Please enjoy your Monday as best you can.
Hugs .....

Wow it's Monday already?? Where did the weekend go?

Saturday we had a neighborhood, multi-family yard sale. Rain showers came in unexpectedly in the afternoon just as we were closing up shop. All that did not sell, which ws not too much, we donated to Habitat for Humanity General Store on the VA Beach/ Chesapeake border. We shop there as needed too. In fact, for the porch Leo built we purchased 4 6ft windows, brand spanking new for under $100.

I did a little more shopping for college needs for my daughter, including buying her a laptop.

After I take a short bike ride, I'm gonna chill out. I have some cool new books to lose  myself in.

Have a blessed,wonderful day!

Morning, Sunshine....

Well...I had a VERY busy weekend this weekend.  Went for a day long ride with the Bayside HOGS on Saturday.  That was SO much fun.  And I was going to go yestewrday, but the rain was off and on in the morning, so I didn;t want to take the chance of getting rained on.  Which was fine because I had some stuff at the house to do anyways.

Let's see....looks like a really busy day here in the office.  I mean...REALLY BUSY.  Almost overwhelming.  But, I can only do so much.......

I'm hoping to adopt another dog.  Keep your fingers crossed.  I'm hoping to find out today.  He would be a perfect addition to our home and I've become attached to him already.  So, I really hope that I get him!  Again....keep your fingers crossed for me.

Other than that, not much else.  I took some time off from my heavy workouts because of my back/sciatic nerve problems and interesting....my weight has started to come down.  Go figure! Haha.  But, i really needed to give my body a rest.  We all know how I like to pu****  Yes....obsess over it - haha.

Anyways...have a GREAT Monday!

Morning Beautiful!  Glad to hear you had a good weekend.  Take a break & rest that body!  My weekend was fabulous!  Lots of fun stuff, some time with hubby, some time with family!  I am definitely not ready for it to be Monday!  Hope you all have a great one.  Love you lots!

Hi, Katters. I had a pretty uneventful weekend, it was still nice though. I made coffee & chaired my Friday Night Meeting. My J Crew was at a Men's retreat, darn those balls!

Reg and I went to look at furniture and walked around Lowe's on Saturday, picked up the new protein filled smoothie at Starbucks (it was ok), and went home to start Operation DumpALot.

It worked, eventually, hahaha. We stayed home to watch UFC's Fight Night and spent most of Sunday in bed, hanging pictures & filing papers, and relaxing. I actually went out to meet someone who was buying clothes from me and she bought one thing. It cost me that much in gas, haha. Oh well. Lesson learned.

I'm actually trying to keep my head up this week. I'm determined to not spend any extra money on quick meals (I'll just drink water/coffee with the WE's on Wednesday), pack my lunches, no shopping, sell on CL, and make it to work everyday, work OT on Wednesday, and stay healthy!

Lets see how it works out!
Thanks for all your support!

We just got back from NC. We spent a week of glorious vacation on the Outer Banks (Kitty Hawk to be exact) and I am going to be busy this week catching up on my yard work, planning my boys' birthday parties this weekend (their birthdays are the 26th and the 27th) and packing up my oldest son to go to church camp for a week starting sunday. We are all in lazy mode today....my youngest is on the couch watching TV and my oldest has not come down from his domain yet and I am here drinking a cup of joe checking up on my e-mails. I have to get myself out of vacation mode and get back to eating healthy. I thought that I would gain a few pounds while I was at the beach, but I did not....I still need to loose a few, so I am going to work on that starting today......I am on vacation this week also. 2 weeks in a row is like the only way to go. Thank goodness I have 6 weeks of vacation a year!
hope all is well and sunny!
hugs
Cath

Good morning Sunshine!  Sounds like all-in-all, you had a good weekend.  Mine was wonderful!

Saturday was a big day for both me & Christina.  I don't want to steal her thunder so I'll let her tell ya'll about her wow moment herself.  But for me, I GOT TO RIDE SAGE!!!!   I haven't been on a horse's back in over 2 years but on Saturday I actually rode him for the first time ever!!  It was amazing....no, it was fantastic....no, FAN-DAM-TABULOUS!!!  I still get giddy when I think about it.  At the end of the day I was exhausted cuz it was pretty hot outside & it tapped my energy.  I wound up falling asleep & everybody fended for themselves for dinner.  But it sure was a good tired!

Then, thanks to Mike's good health news, we celebrated with yet ANOTHER inpromptu bbq Sunday.  Pretty much as big as the 4th of July...all our horse friends, lots of family, lots of friends, to include Melissa & her children.  Of course there were water fights, lots of good eats.  Had a minor technical difficulty when the gril went belly up but Mike & his brother made a trip to Lowe's, repaired the grill, & picked up where he left off.  We ended the day with a gully washer which had the stragglers scurrying for the garage!  The evening ended with delicious servings of Christina's SF banana pudding (thanks Jill for sharing that recipe!).

Then an Uh-Oh happened around 11 pm...we lost our electricty!  Complete blackout which has never happened in all the 7 years we've lived here!  I wound up staying up all night yakking with Mike's brother, hoping the electricity would come back on so I could reset Mike's alarm clock for him to get up for work on time.  Power wasn't restored until 8 am!  I woke him up at 6 am, then dropped off to sleep on the couch, at which time Ben left for his long drive back home to GA.  I'm gonna give him grief for not waking me to say good bye.  He's so amazing...I'm so lucky to have him as my brother-in-law & I love him very much.  Anyway, the entire weekend, starting on Thursday, was just the best.

What's on the plan for today?  SLEEP!!!  And then my borrowed daughter is coming over to discuss her wedding flowers.  She's asked me to design everything flowers so I'm looking forward to our meeting this afternoon.  Ok, off for some ZZZzzzzz's.  Love to all!!

Morning, sunshine!

Glad you had a good weekend.  Ours was jam packed!  We did not do any amusement park stuff at all...just made more work for this week in the evenings.  I left work alittle early on Friday.  I got really sick, really quick.  I had not been able to hold anything at all down during the day (I assumed it was that nasty sinus drainage).  I got home at 5 and was in the bed by 5:05.  I stayed there until 11:30 when I had to get up and go to work. Work went well...Adam's mom went with me and we gave Steve the night off.  It was a great night full of laughs and good coversation.  We discovered we had a lot in common.  When I gOt home I did some laundry, loaded the dishwasher, etc.  Took a shower somewhere in there then Steve and I dropped Kara off at Adam's to go swimming and we went to Fredericksburg to look at a motorcycle Steve wants.  Well, I found one that I want.  It is a special order one and only costs about $19500.00 but I must have it!  I will probably get one next year sometime.  It's a can-am and I fell in love with it.  They even let me test drive it!  Stopped at Wally-world to pick up some dog food for Cujo (she needs the softer stuff cuase she is so old) then picked up Kara.  Took care of dinner for her then off to bed for me till 11:30 again when it was time for work.  got home about 6:15 Sunday AM, slept for three hours, off to church then to pick up returns from the closed dealers.  I got home and Steve was just getting up and was irritating me.  After about an hour I finally told him "if I  could just get 1/3 of the energy you put into researching that damn motorcycle that you want into doing what needs to be done around here then i'd never need anything done!".  He finally got the picture and my kithcen is almost complete again!  We got the new fridge in and all of te cabinets moved.  Now when I get home tonight I just have to put everything back in my cabinets and then clean out the rest of them and reorganize (so it will all be fresh and neat) and get the old fridge to the dump.  I am so happy with it!  Steve even hooked up the wter line for the ice maker/water.  i got to bed late lat night and I was out the door at 5 this AM for work.  Luckily I was able to get more than usual done this AM so I can work some OT before I finish the billing.  It will be late nights all this week for me because I have to work OT all week (2 hours each day, 5 on Saturday) and I wil be in "super obessed cleaning mode" all week.  Once I start something new (like rearranging) I want to do the entire house!  Then there is also the getting ready for Sunday.  I am really excited.  It will be good to see everyone!  I wanted to catch up on some reading today at work (and the posts from the weekend, but it has been super busy.  It has only taken me three hours to write this!  Have a great Monday.

huggles,
Tammy

Hey there Kat! I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was fan-freaking-tastic!!!

I had a late dinner date with a new guy, well not new, was a friend in high school and we ended up reconnecting through myspace. We went to O'Charleys and sat there for over 3 hrs, talking and laughing. Saturday, he came over about 330 and we went to an early dinner, TGI Fridays, (and yes, I made good food choices at both places!!!), then we went and rented a couple movies, went to VCC movie theater and saw "Get Smart". OMG I love the ROCK!!! Then we went back to his house, on the river in West Point, (beautiful view) and watched the movies. It was the best weekend I have spent in a long time.

Today, I am spending the day catching up on household duties. Although Dan did surprise me with a mid day visit. That was really sweet! Now that he's back at work, I can refocus on the chores and will probably go for a late evening walk when he comes over tonight.

I hope you enjoyed your weekend and that the new week is off to a great start! Hugs!

Is this the one you were supposed to be seeing next Sunday???  Does this mean it will no longer be the "first date" and you can come to the meet and greet on Sunday????????  It won't be the same without you!
