Oh my goodness... apparently I'm "hot"

I spent the week in the "big smoke" at a training course and someone commented on the small amount I ate during lunch...   (Sorry for being absent) I've given in keeping it a secret and happily told them about my surgery and that i'd lost 56kg (123 pounds).   There was a deep intake of breath from a number of people followed by laughter...  they didn't believe me... so i pulled out my drivers license and showed them. One of the ladies then apologised that I was so "hot" they thought I was joking... Weird.. "hot" hey...  less than 12 months ago I was just the pudgy geek.. What do you think...  NSV...?   Matt PS This post isn't meant as a ego trip...   just figured I'd share some of the good stuff...

You are HOT!!!!  Matt-I checked out your pre-surgery pictures and you look 5 years younger now! Congrtaulations on all your hard work.  You are an inspiration and a great soure of information.  Thanks you for sharing your journey with all of us. Carole

Congrats, Matt - a very cool NSV indeed, and not at all an ego trip. Even if it was, so what? You deserve to take an ego trip (first class all the way, of course) once in a while. When you say the "big smoke", do you mean "the" big smoke, as in London, or is there another one in Australia?
