I am 12 days post op. May I just give you a couple of tips?
1. Get everything done in your house that will need to be done for the next week. For example: have all of your clothes washed, dried and folded and have the clothes that you are going to wear for the next week already prepared and ironed or whatever you do with them. I was shocked at how little energy I had for the first 8 days. I mean NOOOOOO energy. Washing a load of clothes was like running a marathon!! (And my BMI going in was only 27) It's not like I'm huge! This is just a BIG surgery and leaves you weak.
No pain. No nausea. Nothing like that. Just sooooo pooped out! 2. Have a week's worth of protein drinks, popsicles and juices. Your husband will never come home with the right thing! I wanted sugar free and both husband and son brought me popsicles, but they were not sugar free! Daughter brought me juice that had 52 sugars in 8 ounces! Anyway........The sleeve is WONDERFUL! You'll luuuuuv it! God Bless you! Cindy
