I can't wait

I can't wait until I have my surgery this summer! I know it's going to turn out fine and the timing is perfect but these last few months are going to be hard. For one, exercising isn't getting any easier (one day sometime in the future it will), it's getting hotter here in AZ (I hate being hot!) and then there's today. I know this is kind of a downer post, but the worst thing just happened. I was crossing the street to go back to my home nearby the college campus and some guys leaned out their window and yelled "Hurry it up big girl." and "SO SLOOOOW." It basically broke my heart. I'm so ready to not feel ashamed of my body and to not feel like the slowest in the pack. Today I was even wearing a new outfit and felt okay with myself this morning but then as the day goes by, I feel more self- conscious... I know I'm a great person and I don't think I deserve (I don't think any of us deserve) that kind of treatment. I can't wait for the sleeve to change my life! Nia p.s. I also know I have some replying to do to everyone *****plied to my last post, so I will get on that tonight, I promise.

Nia, I think you should have flipped the guy off!   It may not be considered lady like, but the disrespect he showed you indicates he is not a gentleman either, and deserved any response you felt was appropriate. Please do not let that idiots display of childishness ruin your day, you are too good to let him get you down. All the best, Fred

If it feels good, do it!  And if it smells good, eat it!

NIa People can be such ********but what goes around comes around so even though you may not ever know it...those guys will get what's coming to them one day.  Hang in there. My surgery is scheduled for May 5 and it is driving me crazy waiting...and I am the one who chose the date due to being a softball coach and wanting to wait until my season was over....so hang tough and know that in time...all of this will be a memory and you will be making new memories full of smiles. Hey girl! I woulda sat on his car ;) No, just kidding...I have been there so often I can't even count it.  I've had people lean out their windows and scream "FAT ASS!" or mooo at me, or even call me a "Fat Cu* * " and they don't even know me!!! Oh the times I've cried...not when they could see, of course. :( *HUGE HUGS* It may sound trite but remember this: You may be fat, but you can and will lose weight; those guys? They'll always and forever be jackass jerks with tiny penis issues. That's why they have to tear others down to feel good about themselves.
