It is normal to be scared...we all were scared before surgery.. just think of the benefits that come of the surgery. For me, I didnt focus on what could happen....i focused on the prospect of continuing to live life as an obese person...for the remainder of my yrs...which at that point wouldnt have been long.. there are risks of surgery of course...theres no guarantees....but there arent any with life in general either...except taxes of course...lol anyway...just try to think positive...and do the best u can.

Hi Kelly...Just try and take it one day at a time. That's what I'm doing. Yes, I'm nervous and afraid, but I think that makes me normal...ya know? And I'm sure as the date gets closer, my anxiety will soar...But also, I'm a little more at ease because of the Dr. I chose...and his great reputation.
