Breasts
Boobs. What a pain in the ass they are!! Or pain in the back, as the case may be.
I started out pre-op as a tight 48DDD. 61 pounds down, 4 months out, I'm down to a just-right 40DDD. The girls ARE much smaller, (hallelujah!) so I'm thinking that the cup sizes must go down proportionately with the band size too. I still have my old 48DDD (motivation--NEVER AGAIN!!) and when I compare the old bra with the current one, there is a very significant difference in the cups.
As for the sag factor... I've NEVER been perky so I've got kind of a "whatever" attitude about it. The trade off is that my back isn't on fire 24/7 like it used to be so I'm just fine with it. At this point, I don't give a crap so much about how they look--anything is an improvement from the milk-jugs I was lugging around before. I just make sure I stick with good sturdy full-coverage -- no balconette styles for me -- just gotta pack 'em into something that won't allow for fallout.
Good luck--I truly know how you feel!

I was wearing 42DDD and am now down to 36DDD. I lost weight before and ended up with 34DDD I should say 34 long. Yes they get long and saggy. I for one echo others in saying I am tired of lugging them around. I wouldn't mind being a C but not any smaller.
I don't have any regrets, they can talk about me plenty when I'm gone....Bob Dylan

Thank ya'll for your candor. I too was never too perky, and my back kills me, so I guess it is going to be a waiting game to see what happens!!!! Actually, this is not on the top of my list (close though) My surgery is in 8 days so I am more worried about that
And the water intake et al....
Like I said I guess it will be a waiting game with "Laverne and Shirley", I still have some bras from when I was younger (it is amazing the things we hold on to!!) and I am hoping that maybe everything will "adjust" so I can hold off in buying more....
Thanks again Ladies!!!

Sabrina

We hang onto the old ones for 2 reasons:
1) you "never know" if you might need them again (funny)
2) they were so freaking expensive in the first place, you feel like a sinner if you throw them away. Kinda like the clean plate club--you just don't want to "waste" stuff you spent good money on!
In my case, it ended up being a good thing that I was a "saver" because those old too-small bras DID get used again for a short period of time. So hell yeah, hang onto 'em. And then when they become too big, it's a "Woo hoo!" when you can throw 'em out!
Here's wishing you smaller boobies!

I've only lost about 35 pounds but have lost both bra size and cup size.
tube socks, hmm, not quite but I do think they look like a couple zucchini!
it's worth it, though, and with a bra they still look like breasts!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.
PM me if you are interested in either of these.
size 8, life is great
Ooh, how I wish for boobs to be gone! I started this journey in a 44DD and now wear a 38DD. I really hope to lose some some cup sizes. Mine were perky for about 10 mintues when I was 12 years old. I have no illusions that I will ever have anything but boobs on permanent low beam! I am not sure I even want good fake boobs. I want to spend what plastics money I can scrape up to do my tummy tuck and hopefully my bat wings.
Everyone is different.
I just bought new bras. In clothes, I'm down 3 sizes. In bra straps I'm down 4... BUT I went UP a cup size. I'm so annoyed!!
If I don't get down to C at the end of this road, I'm getting a reduction.
