How long until the jerky passes thru. What kind of pain/relief do you get?

There is no food, or food group, that is prohibited for people with the sleeve.

The nutritionists do pretty much agree that you should always get your protein in, and then eat veggies/carbs, etc.

I have had a minature candy bar, no problem.  I ate some steak, and had horrible problems with it (too soon for my system).  So, just take it easy and try out things as you progress.

I know people here eat steak, lobster, salads, ice cream, pies, cakes, and all kinds of stuff.  It is just that the quantities are much smaller than what you could eat before  I will wait on the cake/pie, et****il my goal is reached myself.

For the most part I can eat anything. Nuts make my stomach burn so I am staying away from them. I don't eat bread, rice, pasta or potatoes. I do allow myself some quinoa but that's about it. I have recently discovered flat bread which is low in carbs and I eat about a 1/4 of the flat bread (I make pizza this way).

I asked my dietician this morning about carbonation and she said to avoid it as it can stretch the sleeve... along with salads. I haven't had my sleeve yet but I'll wait to see what the doc says too. :D

I'm going through a period where drinking milk bugs my tummy. I hope it's temporary.

Other than that, everything I've tried has gone down as long as I didn't eat too fast or not chew enough. I'm just starting to work my way throught the food groups though.
